Unique Yarns and Fibers

My hobby became my career several years ago. After learning how to knit my love for yarn grew more and more. I began spinning and not too long after I began dyeing my own fibers.

Spun Right Round became my full-time adventure in 2011 when I opened a brick and Mortar store in Central New York. I tried to juggle the storefront and the online shop but I decided I couldn't do both. In 2013 I closed the brick and mortar and began dyeing full time from the home studio that is now based in Rochester, NY.

I have a shoot from the hip kind of style, dye lots will vary and each skein is unique. Sometimes the pots yield one of a kind colorways so the shop will always offer surprises! I approach the dye pots as an artist, although I follow recipes the results can be unpredictable. Please keep in mind that each skein is truly unique!

If you are unhappy with our product please contact us immediately so we can do our best to fix the situation. Items returned within 2 weeks in original and sellable condition are eligible for a refund, caked yarns are not returnable. The buyer is responsible for the return shipping costs.
We accept Etsy Direct Checkout and Paypal for payment. Sales Tax will be added for New York State residents. We also reserve the right to cancel an order and will issue a refund if that happens.
Orders will be shipped to the address listed at checkout on Etsy. If you would like your order shipped to a different address, please specify that in the 'Notes to Seller' section at checkout. Items usually within 1-2 business days of receiving payment.

International buyers are responsible for any duty or customs fees. If for some reason your package is not claimed and is returned, a refund is possible but only for the items (minus shipping) once they have been returned. We will not resend international packages. Additional policies and FAQs
Custom Orders:
Full deposit required on custom orders that are not our usual repeatable colorways.

We do not offer a ball winding or caking service at this time.

When ordering for a larger project I recommend setting up a custom listing so all your yarn is from the same dye session. Although the skeins will not be identical it helps to keep a level of consistency. Still work alternating skeins every few rows.

Wholesale is available on most items to Brick and Mortar stores. Please send a message with your shop info.

To request yarn support, please send an email to spunround [!at] yahoo.com with a proposal that includes the following:
• A description of design, including sketches.
• Include the yarn base, quantity, and colorway(s) you are requesting.
• Timeframe for when you’d like to receive the yarn and publish the design.
• Links to previous designs or portfolio if available.
• Provide a name and address for shipment.

Once the proposal has been reviewed we’ll contact you with any additional questions or when you can expect your yarn
