Squirrel Creek Creations: We're nuts about masks and costumes!

We're a family of creative people and artists who work together to make Leather masks, wearable art and more! From masquerade masks and leather crowns to large dragon masks, single pieces of armor to complete sets, we can make almost anything!

We want to share our love of leather working with everyone by keeping our prices affordable!

Each mask is hand made by one of the artists from our shop. We take pride in bringing you great designs and a huge variety of one of a kind masks and crowns, etc.

Our masks start with high quality vegetable tanned leather, and are hand cut with shears or a craft knife. Each mask is slightly different due to variations in the leather, because it's hand cut and not stamped or laser cut. We wet and form the mask, carve it by hand if necessary, then heat it to 'set' the leather. We then use acrylic paint or leather dyes to add color. Once everything is dry, we use a top coat to protect the mask and seal the leather. We add ribbon and a cord lock to make it easy to wear and adjust. You can even use it to display your mask on the wall!

Do you wear glasses? Check out this tutorial on how to modify your mask to work with your glasses! http://squirrelcreek.blogspot.com/2015/02/glasses-modification-tutorial-wear.html
