I did a lot of varied art while getting my bachelor's degree in Multimedia Art. But it wasn't until I took some classes in Silkscreen printing at my local community college (they'd always been full at University!) that I found my current artistic calling, and started me on the path to selling said art here on Etsy. I learned the techniques and just kept experimenting, eventually discovering my love of the Lichtenstein-esque benday dots pop art look. I've taken that look and kept pushing its boundaries with every new print.
During my last term at Community College, I used my tax refund money to build a silkscreen studio in my half-garage. It serves me well, most prints I sell here are made in there, often in the middle of the night & hoping I'm not being too loud for the neighbors.
