About StargazerFiber

On Etsy since 2018

Cruelty-Free, Ethical & Sustainable Wool

Welcome to Stargazer Fiber Arts... Your source for natural wool fibers and handspun yarns.
We began this wonderful wooly journey with the fleeces of our own Icelandic sheep while discovering all the versatile ways to use their fluff.
Today, we love to source fibers from other small farms where we know the animals are loved and cared for.
Much of the wool and yarns at Stargazer are processed by hand, from raw fleeces, into a variety of items. After sampling many different methods, it became clear that processing the wool in small batches, by hand, is the best way to preserve the softness and unique characteristics of most sheep breeds.
It is a labor of love, and I'm so thrilled to be able to share these lovely fibers with you here!
