    I'm not able to travel to see my big brother this Easter so I used one of my coloring pages to create a fun e-card. The nursing home printed it and hand-delivered it to him. Much faster than sending it via the post office. LOL

    A World of Nature

    NOTE: Now that my focus is on original paintings for my shop, the following information, though true, is no longer quite the right story. I'll update it when I get time! Thanks.

    When I started painting pet portraits a few years ago (well actually I've painted them off and on for decades) I had forgotten how much I love creating animal art (and nature subjects). My graphic design career really didn't involve them much, so it took me by surprise how much I'd missed seeing their beautiful eyes (my favorite part to paint).

    I've stopped painting commissioned portraits right now. The stress was just too high. I'm concentrating on just creating what I love and using what I've already created to post here on Etsy.

    That's EXACTLY what I want my art to be.

    I grew up on a farm and had a great childhood exposed to lots of nature, plus both domestic and wild creatures of all kinds. From dozens of barn cats to polecats, goats, horses, cows, pigs, chickens, and wild pets too numerous to list.

    After marriage and moving to a large metropolitan area, cats were my passion. I placed over 130 fostered cats (I lost count at that point) into new loving homes (including my own LOL).

    I've made my career and living as a freelance artist, both graphic design and fine art. I love illustrating animals more than anything else, but unfortunately its a time consuming passion so I don't do as much of it as I would like.

    I'd be delighted to discuss a commissioned work with you. Price will of course vary depending on the medium, size, and subject.
    Although I paint most any subject, my focus is nature. And I do not paint people.
    Contact me if you'd like to discuss a project.

    Prints

    I will be offering prints of many of my paintings. I have added a note towards the bottom in each Original Painting listing if I intend to do prints of that painting. If you're interested in prints of a certain painting and there's no mention of it in the listing, feel free to contact me -- I may have just over looked it.

    Because I paint small, most prints will be offered at 8 x 10 inches with the art at actual size of the original. Price will be around $20 with free shipping.

    Shipping

    ⭐️ I ship via USPS to your Etsy Account address.
    ⭐️ My original art is Insured & a Delivery Signature required.
    ⭐️ My shipping app emails you an update with tracking info when your order is on its way.
    ⭐️ Please double-check your address. USPS will not honor a claim that was delivered to an address that is incorrect. For more help with missing packages, visit USPS website for further instructions: https://www.usps.com/help/missing-mail.htm
    ⭐️ I am not responsible for lost, stolen or delayed packages. If your package was not delivered as expected or as indicated in tracking, contact your local post office to have them help. I insure my Original Art so if an insurance claim needs to be filed, it is your responsibility to do so.

    Returns, Refunds, & Cancelations

    ⭐️ Items must be returned in new condition for a refund or exchange.
    ⭐️ Return postage and insurance is your responsibility.
    ⭐️ Exchanges or refunds are processed when the item is in my hands.
    ⭐️ If item was purchased with free shipping, the refund amount will be less the amount it cost for me to insure and ship it to you.
    ⭐️ If at any time you need to cancel before the item has been sent, you can do so for a full refund within 12 hours.
