Welcome to Star Light, Star Tight! For years I've tried to find lightweight, beautiful tree toppers that I could securely attach to my Christmas tree. After coming up empty-handed time after time, I decided to make my own! These tree toppers won't pull down the branch they sit on, and they stay firmly attached because they are secured with a clip on the back, rather than the typical conical spiral you see in stores. All my tree toppers are hand-decorated in my smoke-free home in Maryland. Custom orders very welcome!

Returns and exchanges
My goal is always your happiness! If there is any problem with your item, please contact me so I can attempt to fix the situation. For most items, I will accept returns within 2 weeks (14 days) of your receipt of the item, with return shipping at your expense and the item in the same condition you received it. When I receive the item I will happily refund your payment to your PayPal account. If an item is a custom order that I don't believe I can resell, I may not be able to accept a return (this would apply in cases with custom initials or names; custom color schemes I will most likely accept). Above all, please contact me so we can work together to fix any problems that may arise. I really want you to love your star!

Shipping
I ship using USPS priority mail boxes or padded envelopes, depending upon the dimensions of the particular tree topper. I will ship the next business day after the item's completion, if not the same day. Individual item listings will detail whether I will have to create a new topper, or if I currently have copies of that item in my inventory. If I contact you with photos of your individual topper (see "Additional Information"), I will wait 48 hours to hear back from you before I ship. Please contact me if you are interested in express shipping or any other shipping request.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please see individual item descriptions for details about whether you are purchasing the exact tree topper pictured, or one of the same design. Because of the hand-decorated nature of these toppers, I cannot promise identical appearances (wouldn't that take away from some of the fun of Etsy, anyway?), but if I feel an item is visibly different I will contact you with pictures of your individual tree topper beforehand. You can also always request a picture of the individual item when you check out, so you can make sure you will love it before I ship it. Otherwise, I will use my best judgement.
