    Welcome to Start at Home Decor. We love to create new one of a kind pieces. all of our reclaimed wood signs are one of a kind as they are made from reclaimed frames and signs.

    Accepted payment methods

    I gladly accept returns and exchanges
    Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
    Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
    I don't accept cancellations
    But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
    The following items can't be returned or exchanged
    Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
    • Custom or personalized orders
    • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
    • Digital downloads
    • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

    Returns
    Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

    All custom cutouts and clothing sales are final.

    If for some reason you are not satisfied with your purchase you may ship your item back. As long as the item is returned in the same condition a full refund will be issued. However we do not refund any shipping charged and there will be a $10 restock fee.
    To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

    If your product is damaged during shipping please contact us at hello [!at] startathomedecor.com. All products are insured through Shipsurance, but will require the buyer to complete an insurance claim via a link that will be provided by Start at home decor and we will need pictures of the damaged item and packaging.
    Note: refunds for damaged product will be refunded once the claim has been submitted and approved.

    To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

    Refunds (if applicable)
    Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
    If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

    Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
    If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
    Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
    Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
    If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at hello [!at] startathomedecor.com.

    Sale items (if applicable)
    Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

    Exchanges (if applicable)
    We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello [!at] startathomedecor.com and send your item to: 1445 Pony Express Way Centerville Utah US 84014.

    Shipping
    To return your product, you should mail your product to: 1445 Pony Express Way Centerville Utah US 84014

    You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

    Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

    If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
    Shipping
    We work our hardest to keep shipping as low as possible. Our reclaimed wood signs are big and heavy making them a little more expensive to ship. All shipping costs are ONLY for the continental US. If you are in Hawaii, Alaska or Canada please send us a message for a new shipping rate.
    Additional policies and FAQs
    We do offer custom word cutouts. However we do not make custom reclaimed signs as no 2 signs turn out the same, we do list some signs with the option of choosing your own word!
