Myth. Stone. Metal.

The Jewels:
My jewelry is literally an extension of my collection of interests. I am strongly influenced by: rock hoarding, mythology (Eastern Woodlands and Nordic among others), history, poetry, literature, dark room photography, music, nature, painting, and the pure quality of enjoying physical work. My jewelry is all made with rare stones and precious metals with some base metals thrown in. Occasionally I'll use tanned deer hide from the local powwow. I use basic silversmithing tools in my little studio. I've always found when someone's tools are restricted, they get more resourceful and creative.

The Story:
I went to school for painting large abstract oil paintings that delved into combining myths of different cultures while also exploring the materials themselves and the history of painting. It was during this time I was lucky to take a beginner's jewelry class. After that I was hooked and bought myself a torch. I've been self taught since. In a way I still feel like I'm in the world of paint, now I'm just an elaborate framer for the paintings themselves - my stones. I've always had a love for rocks; specifically turquoise. Researching and gathering extensive knowledge of the rare American Southwestern mines has led to my massive high quality natural stone collection. Each piece is one of a kind, and I incorporate them into themed jewelry works.

I am a complete Rock Nerd.

I grew up in the woods. I've always been surrounded by animals and greenery, and my jewelry shows this in it's organic driven aesthetic. Core basics like nature, the mythological and mystical, and for lack of a better term, "the primitive", are always present. I have work ranging from the bare bones of body adornment (what I consider to be 'the primitive', i.e. foundation), to embellished statement pieces. I also don't go a day without listening to music. Many of my pieces have dangling elements for sound.

All pieces start with a stone and story. When a person wears my jewelry, the piece becomes part of their story. I always feel amazed at the support and encouragement from others over my work. I love that I am able to do this and share my creations.

I love collecting rocks and framing the prized pieces in metalwork to make them wearable. Metal smithing is my new found passion, added to my life of art making. I create each piece by hand in my little studio in the soft light of New England.

Shop policies

Last updated on February 1, 2019
My nickname is the Cave Lady, my cave is paved with quality stones...

Read over this policy section carefully.

By purchasing one of my pieces, you are indicting you have read and comply with the policies here. Please know that I adhere to these strictly, if you have questions or specific requirements (deadlines, etc.) please ask before purchasing.

Everything I make is hand fabricated- meaning made by hand COMPLETELY. Everything starts with a sheet of metal and my little coping saw. Because of this items that are made to order may vary ever so slightly from the photographs.

Are of quality. I love to use unique and natural stones in my jewelry-none of the turquoise I use is stabilized unless it says so in the product description. Most of what I get is directly from lapidary artists who get their rough from the mine owners or from old stock collections. For each little treasure of a stone I hunt them down at rock and gem shows, or online with the actual cabbers. I have spent years researching the old mines, and researching QUALITY stones. After a long time of hunting, it becomes pretty clear what is high grade and what isn't - regardless of how it is listed and marketed. I feel a piece of jewelry should feature the stone as well as the metalwork, and combining the two to make wearable art is my passion.

-My jewelry is *not for resale* unless by a shop owner or work with a shop that has purchased wholesale from me or has a consignment contract with me. Shop means a brick and mortar boutique or an online retail venue - not a platform website with personal accounts to sell on.

Also, please be respectful of my creative rights. As a jeweler and artist I strive to make my pieces unique and one of a kind. We all have our own inspirations and talents, please do not imitate or infringe upon mine. I will ever be in awe of yours.

I strongly adhere to this policy.

I do not issue refunds or returns on anything that is "made to order" or custom work. This is made just for you and cannot be sold to others.
Custom orders and deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Please read over descriptions carefully.
Size, materials, and details along with a link to my shop policy page are in every item listing. I will not issue refunds, returns, or exchanges based on dissatisfaction of an item's specifications that are clearly listed. If an item arrives broken or damaged, please contact me immediately and we can work together in a way to fix it.

Many rings are made according to your ring size, please be aware that I

*do not refund or exchange based on incorrect sizing*

so be certain of your size. If you need help determining the best size, please ask and I'll help you. Ring sizes of already made rings cannot be adjusted unless it says so in the item listing.

If you are unsure of your ring size, you can purchase my little ring sizer (see in Shop) and that purchase price will go towards any ring purchases in my shop afterward (NOT rings purchased at the same time). I do NOT recommend using a string to measure your finger's circumference, or using an online guide. These prove to be unreliable.

My end aim is to share my work and make you happy.
If you have any issue with your purchase please let me know ASAP and I will try to help to the best of my ability. I am a one woman business and ask to be treated with the same respect I will show you.

Please don't hesitate to ask me any questions! I am happy to help in any way I can, additional photos and descriptions of items can always be provided.
I prefer Paypal, but I also accept Direct Checkout, and Etsy Giftcards.

If payment is not received within 5 business days the order will be cancelled. I will not ship out an item until I receive payment. Please know that if paying with Paypal sometimes your payment will be delayed pending verification. Your order will not be made or shipped until the payment is cleared.

Maine residents will have to pay the 5.5% sales tax-its added to shipping upon checkout.

Reserves & Layaway:
I will do this with a 25% non-refundable and non-transferable deposit on the total of the piece. The piece is to be paid in full within 30 days.

Shipping prices do not only include that little sticker you see on your package that dictates the cost of mailing it. It also includes the jewelry boxes, ribbon, sealing wax, parcel, bubble wrap, and cost of things like business cards, printer ink, paper, tape, etc. that are needed. All of this gets factored in as in any other business, and all items come ready for gift giving.

All parcels ship USPS First Class with tracking unless otherwise requested. Orders OVER $200USD will ship with insurance. If you would like insurance added to your order that is under $200, please contact me PRIOR to purchasing and I can add it to your order.

Please know I cannot be held responsible if the mail system loses or damages your parcel, but I will do my best to help you track it down. I cannot be held responsible if you give me an incorrect address, I copy and paste from transactions so what you have listed is exactly what I ship to. I do not mail out replacements, so think carefully if you would like insurance added to your order- especially if gift giving.

Shipping prices depend on the size and weight of each item. All parcels ship USPS First Class, which may take 1-8 weeks depending on your location. If you would like your purchase to ship with insurance please let me know and I will change the shipping settings for you PRIOR to purchase.

Please know I cannot be held responsible if your parcel gets held up in customs, or if you have to pay a customs fee. You alone are responsible for being aware of your country's customs law and for paying them, please do not ask me to falsify shipping documents by marking items with a lesser value or as a gift. This is asking me to break a law and jeopardize my business. I also cannot give tracking numbers for any international orders.

I ship out parcels twice a week minimum. Please allow extra time if shipping outside the United States. Items *made to order* need 1-3 weeks for production and are then shipped out~

If you are purchasing a gift for someone and I am shipping directly to them, please let me know if you'd like the option to:

~pick your gift wrapping colors, or gift wrap a specific way
~decorate the packaging box a specific way or keep it plain so as to be a secret until they open it!

wrapping and decorating is a hobby of mine, please don't hesitate to ask!
Additional policies and FAQs
Any wholesale orders please contact me here: Stasia [!at]

Are enjoyably welcomed! there is no extra charge for custom work and concept designs, but a 50% deposit is required *before* starting ANY commissions and they do take about 1-3 weeks for production depending on the commission, also added time if materials need to be acquired. Any design you're craving is possible.

Please PLEASE be aware that I get many inquiries about stone choices. Know that I may be showing the same stones to other customers and nothing is claimed until a design concept is finalized and a deposit is put down.

CARE FOR ITEMS / SILVER TARNISHING: Please use common sense~

Do not partake in any wet or strenuous activity while wearing your jewels (dish washing/washing your hands, shower, surfing, boxing, etc.). This goes double for any leather jewelry.

Any finish will eventually wear off with time, it's just the way it works. All oxidized silver will evolve in hue and colour over time, and will react differently to each person based on the amount of wear, sweat, etc. If you would like your piece re-oxidized let me know, and I can refinish it for a small fee.

Please do NOT use jewelry cleaners as many can be too harsh. Simply mix a pinch of baking soda with some water, and with an old toothbrush lightly scrub the piece in circular motions, then rinse with water. Be sure not to scrub any stones or oxidized metals, and if cleaning a piece with turquoise in it-be extra gentle. Try to avoid getting water on the turquoise in general. If you have any questions about cleaning your pieces never hesitate to just ask!
