I have been drawing and painting ever since I could hold a pencil. Art has always been an extension of my heart, a direct expression of my inner thoughts and feelings, a mean of communication when I can’t quite find the right words. Art has always been a form of therapy for me, and I think that’s why it led me to where I am today.

In 2017, I left a commercial interior design job that was no longer fulfilling me. I was pregnant with our first baby, and trying to figure out my next step. Aka: I was soul searching. Naturally, in this time of emotional confusion, I picked up my pencils and brushes and starting painting again. My husband started encouraging me to share my work online. Hesitantly, I decided to step outside my comfort zone, and do just that. Making art and posting for the public eye to see was a very new concept of creating for me, and while it was uncomfortable, it felt right. Sharing my art eventually led me to start a side-gig selling original, hand-painted greeting cards and art prints on Etsy (shout out to all my early supporters for seeing something in my work back then..). About a year in, I developed a strong interest in growing my side-gig into something more, and decided to transition into a product-based business. I spent hours googling, researching, and reaching out to printers on how to get started. I did what I could, with what I had, and eventually launched my business in 2018 out of my parent’s basement.

Fast forward to today, I currently paint, design, manage, store, and package all our products out of our home studio. I work with a handful of U.S-based printers and manufactures to help our products come to life. I am so grateful to say we have our products stocked in hundreds of stores across the world.

Much of my inspiration comes from my ordinary everyday life. It could be a personal experience or feeling, a general observation of what’s around me, or a memorable social interaction.

I hope my paper goods can inspire us to create meaningful connections with the people and moments that matter most. I hope they can brighten your everyday.
