Stella My Star

Stella My Star is based in the UK.

I make handmade jewellery and accessories.

Stella My Star is a manifestation of a life-long obsession with jewellery, beads and sparkly treasures.

I've always loved shiny things, and as a child amassed a collection of "precious gems" including necklaces from Christmas crackers, crystals, vintage brooches given to me by relatives, and stones and beach glass collected on holiday.

I've also always been fascinated by meaning in jewellery, whether that be hidden symbolism in Victorian jewellery, magical properties associated with talismans and amulets, or jewellery with personal resonance such as charm bracelets.

As Stella My Star, I make jewellery using an eclectic range of materials that wouldn't have looked out of place in my childhood treasure box; semi-precious stones, glass, crystal, acrylic and mixed metals, sometimes re-purposing vintage jewellery or beads. Stella My Star charm jewellery is often influenced by popular culture and storytelling, using symbolic charms and coloured crystal and glass beads to reflect on a theme.
