How it all started
Desde que me lembro, adoro panificação e arquitetura. Fazia sentido combinar os dois.
Durante minha infância, ocasionalmente fazia casinhas de gengibre compradas em lojas para o Natal. Não é nada que fosse uma tradição, mas sempre foi divertido!
2015, na cozinha do meu dormitório, ainda na universidade, desenhei meus primeiros estênceis e construí minha primeira grande casinha de gengibre. Desde então tem sido uma das coisas que mais anseio quando se trata de Natal. Ser capaz de sentar e ser criativo por horas a fio.
2022, quando soube que iria me mudar da cidade onde morei nos últimos dez anos, fiz minha primeira casa de pão de gengibre que na verdade parecia um prédio que existe na vida real. Como uma homenagem ao meu tempo em Lund. Até aquele momento, todos se baseavam apenas na minha imaginação e na inspiração que obtive em diferentes lugares.
Resolvi filmar o processo e postar no meu TikTok @SofiaViolaN. Tornou-se viral e foi aí que tudo decolou. Várias pessoas comentaram que eu deveria começar a vender meus estênceis.
Eu nunca pensei que seria capaz de fazer alguma coisa com isso, então receber esse incentivo foi maravilhoso! Aprendi a desenhar meus estênceis digitalmente depois de sempre tê-los desenhado à mão.
Agora vendo meus estênceis aqui no Etsy. Estou tão animado por poder compartilhá-los com você, por poder fazer parte do seu processo criativo, seja algo que você faz na época do Natal ou apenas uma terça-feira normal, onde você tem vontade de construir uma casa feita de biscoitos. !

For as long as I can remember I’ve loved baking and architecture. It just made sense to combine the two.
During my childhood I occasionally made store bought gingerbread houses for Christmas. It’s nothing that was a tradition, but it was always fun!
2015, in my dorm kitchen, while at university, I drew my first stencils and built my first big gingerbread house. Since then it’s been one of the things I look forward to the most when it comes to Christmas. Being able to sit down and be creative for hours on end.
2022 when I knew that I was going to move from the city I had lived in for the previous ten years, I made my first gingerbread house that actually looked like a building that exists in real life. As an homage to my time in Lund. Up until that point they had all just based on my imagination and inspiration I had gotten from different places.
I decided to film the process and upload it on my TikTok @SofiaViolaN. It went viral and that’s when it all took off. Multiple people commented that I should start selling my stencils.
I had never thought that I would actually be able to do anything with this so to get that encouragement was wonderful! I learned how to draw my stencils digitally after always having drawn them by hand.
Now I sell my stencils here on Etsy. I’m so excited that I'm able to share them with you, that I can be a part of your creative process whether it something you do during Christmas times or just a normal Tuesday where you feel like building a house made out of cookies!
