Everything about this was amazing. First, the ring is beautiful - it's even more impressive in real life than in pictures. The moonstone Stephanie chose was the perfect tone I asked for. The ring itself if so classy yet different than most mainstream rings. My Fiance loves it! Second, Stephanie was amazing to work with. She was always responsive to any question I had. She worked with me on a special situation where I needed to ship the ring by a certain date to a different address. She was way faster than I expected. She is professional and amazing at her art. I would highly recommend her anytime.

About

Custom engagement rings and wedding bands handcrafted in nyc

In 1995 I was in a boring job and was desperate to be creative using my hands. I took myself to the local art school but the pottery class I was interested in was closed. Hmm. The only thing left was a metalsmithing class. So I hammered my heart out and have never looked back. I still have what looks like a tin-can I forged from copper sitting on my jewelry bench. It reminds me how close I came to missing out on my true calling as a jeweler. You won't find anything mass-produced here, it all comes from my own heart and hands.

I'm so thankful every day to be able to do what I love to pay my bills. I'm grateful to the Etsy community and my clients for always supporting me.

Our environment is very important to me, so I use recycled fine metals and humanely sourced gemstones in my work. I also use green practices in running my business as much as possible. I'd like to leave as small a footprint in the ecosystem as I can and hope I can be a positive example for my kids for a better future.

Jewelry is my true passion, I love creating things that bring joy to people, that represent milestones, that make people laugh. Working with people to make something that brings joy to their hearts makes it worth it to me.

Please make sure you put any special requests we have discussed in the "notes to seller" section when you check out.

Shipping
Please make sure your shipping address on Etsy is updated, that is the address I will use. Please note, I do not ship to Russia as it is prohibited by law.

Packaging:
All orders are ready for gifting. Every Metalicious piece of jewelry comes in a customized gift box tied with a bow.

DOMESTIC: My standard shipping charge is for USPS Priority shipping within the U.S., takes up to 3 business days to reach you and includes tracking and signature confirmation. This means you must be there to sign for your package. If you'd like insurance on your item please convo me for pricing (it's generally $2-5 extra). I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

UK: It is illegal to ship jewelry from the US to the UK using USPS (United States Postal Service) so I ship via Fedex.

INTERNATIONAL, NOT UK: I will ship your item via USPS Priority mail. There is no tracking and I cannot control how long it will take to get through customs or if it gets lost. I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages. I am not responsible for paying additional taxes or tariffs imposed by customs. You can check here to see what the duty will be for your country: http://www.dutycalculator.com/new-import-duty-and-tax-calculation/ If you'd like tracking on your package I can ship it via Fedex for about $45. Please convo me for the exact amount since it differs by country.

All MADE-TO-ORDER items (for example all rings) will take a minimum of 4 weeks from date of payment. If you need it sooner, please convo me before ordering. I guarantee shipment for all REGULAR items in my shop within 1-3 business days from payment M-F. If you need it sooner than that please convo me for overnight shipping costs.
Refunds and Exchanges
All my items are made to withstand general wear. However if a piece is in need of repair based on normal wear I will be happy to repair it within 3 months. Metalicious is not responsible for tangled chains. I would be happy to replace a tangled chain for a fee, just convo me.

Because custom orders including rings in your size are unique, there will be no cancellations, returns or refunds. I can re-size for a fee. Please contact me if you have any questions.

I do not accept returns after 30 days, or if the jewelry shows wear. There is a 25% re-stocking fee for cancelled orders.

Care of Jewelry:
Keep your jewelry in a clean, dry place such as a fabric-lined jewelry box or wrapped in a soft piece of cloth. Store pieces individually so they do not scratch one another and keep away from direct exposure to sunlight and air.
Avoid bringing jewelry into contact with perfume, hairspray or harsh chemicals such as bleach or chlorine. It is best to put jewelry on last while getting dressed and to remove while washing hands, performing housework, swimming, or engaging in other strenuous activity. It's not recommended to wear your gemstone jewelry around heat (stoves, ovens, saunas, etc) as it can permanently damage your gemstones.

Over time, silver, and to a lesser extent, gold, will tarnish with exposure to air, chemicals, and oils in the skin. Pieces are best cleaned using a soft cotton cloth or felt with mild, non-abrasive soap and warm water. Be very careful not to dislodge any stones or wires. Rinse pieces thoroughly and allow to air dry completely before storing. For best results, clean pieces periodically and handle with care.

Matte/satin finish:
Over time matte jewelry burnishes with wear. It can be re-matted by rubbing with a paste of baking soda and water, or gently brushing with a green 3M scrub pad. Blackened silver gradually fades with wear. While many people appreciate the unique patina, I can re-oxidize your piece for the cost of shipping.

Note: Do not use tissue paper or paper towel for cleaning, as their fibers can result in scratching. Do not use commercial cleaners on your jewelry. Use soap and water and a soft cloth.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please keep in mind my jewelry is made with care by my own two hands. I am not a machine so each piece may have a slight variation from what is pictured. I create high-quality handmade jewelry, not mass manufactured or machined pieces (nothing wrong with that, just not the kind of work I do). I hope you love my jewelry as much as I love creating it for you.

Please let me know if your purchase is a gift, Etsy will let you add a different address when you check out. Instead of an invoice I will include a personalized message from you to the recipient, put whatever you'd like me to write in the 'notes to seller' when you check out.

FAQ:
Q: Can you recycle the metal from my jewelry into your work?
A: I'm so sorry, but at this time I can't.

Q: Can you use my gemstones in your designs?
A: Due to the liability involved I do not use customer supplied stones in my jewelry.

Q: Do you sell wholesale?
A: Not yet. ;-)
