Announcement   Stephanie Schamban Photography has a unique collection of Fine Art Photography and Wood Block Prints. Each image was photographed by the artist, Stephanie Schamban, and is printed on museum quality, archival, cotton paper. For each Wood piece, the image is printed directly onto a piece of painted wood allowing for subtle textures to come through.

Collections include Food Prints, Barnyard Animal Wall Art and Cotton Photography perfect for your kitchen, child's room, nursery, powder room and office.

What, exactly is a Giclee print? Good question! Giclee refers to a Fine Art printing technique where the ink is sprayed onto the paper. These are high resolution images printed on archival papers that will last 100+ years. Pigment based inks, rather than dye-based inks, are used - these will keep to their true colors for 100+ years. What you get is a beautiful image on a heavy weight, subtly textured paper that will last a long long time.

Any image you see in my shop can be printed onto wood. Each piece comes ready to hang with a saw tooth hanger nailed on the back.

Wholesale inquiries and special requests and gift certificates are welcome!

Great work! It was a gift for friend who moved away. This is something to remember about Alabama. Presented very well in such a unique way. I know it was well received! Great work, Stephanie!!

About

It's the little things

I love seeing the beauty in the simple.
a bowl of salt,
a fork,
a glass of chocolate milk.

In 2007 I had become increasingly interested in the food world--both photographing and eating. (Often times eating more than shooting).

Much of my inspiration comes my from children.
I often wonder if they see light they way I do.
Like when they leave their dirty dishes on the table in just such a way
and a ray of light hits the empty milk glass perfectly and
makes it look
beautiful.
and then I realize, "Nah, they're just lazy."
