Welcome to Pretty Birdie Co. By Stephanie Teague Trippe. Women's and Children's Clothing made from Hemp and Sustainable Textiles.

All pieces are made to order, custom to your specific measurements or size specification. Thank you for your patience while your special piece is being hand made especially for you!

Pretty Birdie Co. is a proud supporter of Industrial Hemp. I use primarily Hemp Textiles in my clothing. I believe it can truly help heal our environment. It replenishes the soil as it grows, yields 4 times the amount of fiber that a cotton crop does, needs little water and no pesticides and is antimicrobial and breathable. Hemp does not wear out, it wears in. It has sustained our world in past generations and it is time to bring it back. It is my goal as a designer to show how beautiful and fashionable Hemp can be. My name is Stephanie Trippe and I am the designer and seamstress behind Pretty Birdie.
All pieces are handmade by me with great care and attention to detail. Each bespoke piece is custom, made to order in your specific measurements. I produce quality, high end custom clothing that is also gentle on the environment. This is my passion. Together we can save the environment one piece at a time!

About

Designer Handmade Sustainable Clothing for Women

Designer Stephanie Teague Trippe is a native of North Carolina and is happy to have made her home in Greensboro, NC with her husband and little boy!

She first entered the fashion industry focusing on a career in modeling, but quickly realized that her passion was behind the sewing machine. What began as a hobby designing her own wardrobe by reconstructing vintage items and recycling fabrics, soon turned into a business and in 2007 Pretty Birdie was hatched. With a focus on high-end, ready to wear items made from eco-friendly materials, Pretty Birdie has been recognized nationally and has become a go to choice for celebrities and fashionistas coast to coast.

An advocate for raising awareness about the benefits of using sustainable materials, Stephanie is proud to have been a part of "Bringing It Home", a new documentary about industrial hemp.

Her newest venture is a collaboration of her love of design, romance and all things lovely...it is Pretty Birdie Bridal.
