I am completely passionate about sequins and seed beads and all things beading really !!

HI, my name is Stephie and I love beads and sequins ! A. LOT.
I have never met a bead, or sequin that I did not like !! I love looking at them, buying them, storing them, crafting with them and selling them. Did I say I LOVE beads and sequins ?
My studio is a large front bedroom in our 93 year old vintage gingerbread house. I have four windows and a french door and I love to come in here in the morning and pull up all my blinds and let the light shine into my lovely, very beady space.
One of my favorite things to do is to go to yard sales, junk sales,flea markets thrift stores, and even antique stores, and find old outdated pieces of jewelry that have great components . I have a blast taking them apart, and letting those wonderful bits and pieces live again in new jewelry. I sell some of those bits as well so other jewelry artists can create with them and make wonderful new things !!
I am also passionate about my sequins. Almost 26 years ago I started working with sead beads and then sequins. The larger beaded jewelry followed later. My husband and I started making beautiful seed bead earrings and necklaces and then I started to make some pretty angels with sequins and the seed beads. I used felt that I cut into the shape of the angel and sewed together pretty angels to give as gifts. Back than I could not find many colors of sequins, and most were metallic, but today, I have so many to choose from I get giddy !! I have a vast personal collection today of both new and vintage sequins.
I love to share my passion for beads, sequins , and honestly anything craft related here. I am slowly adding my hand made wire clasps, so far in copper, but I plan to add sterling silver ,and rose gold in the future.
I have sold my handmade jewelry and wine charm sets here since I started, and this past year decided to clear out some of my excess supplies and some wonderful vintage sequins I was fortunate to come across in a large lot. I am adding back in more of my handmade items.
My husband is a stain glass artist in his spare time and we love to make glass jewelry together as well. We had a set back for a bit with our studios while kids moved in, but we are getting back in the swing of it all since they moved back out, and should be able to have some pretty copper foil stained glass pendants for sale soon. I am learning the craft and hope to be able to make some on my own soon !!!
