I love to knit. I can knit and knit and knit....but there is only so much knitting one family can use. One day I stumbled across Etsy online and it seemed like a good fit for me. I struggled with finding a name for my shop until one day "Stitches In Time" popped into my head while I was knitting. Unfortunately, I added the name to Etsy late one night and didn't realize that I had made a spelling error, calling the shop "Stiches" instead of "Stitches". At that time we were unable to make any changes to our shop names, and it turned out there was an inactive shop with the name Stitches In Time, so I was stuck with "Stiches". I've made the best of it as I am attached to the name since it really defines the essence of my feelings about knitting and handcrafts in general. The arts we produce today are linked to those produced by those we came before us, and in turn those yet to be made in the future will be inspired by what we are creating now. We are all connected through time.
