5 out of 5 starsWonderful hand woven cotton towel. Tightly woven, nice hand feel. Just received it yesterday. As a covid precaution, I decided to toss it in the washer & dryer before use. Came out of the wash looking every bit as nice as it went in. Very pleased with my purchase !

5 out of 5 starsThese towels are the best I've ever had and will ever have. They are beautiful, strong, and the fact that they are not machine made makes me appreciate them even more. Well worth the price.

5 out of 5 starsThe tactile, raised weave, 3D quality of this towel is delightful, and also indicative of its interesting color pattern that shifts in different lighting conditions. I imagine it will only improve as it gets used and washed. Initially bought as an impending housewarming gift, but we'll see if it makes it :). Fast shipping. Friendly seller.

5 out of 5 starsDelicate weave and dual blue/ivory combination. The pattern and color choice work well whether in vintage or modern styled plumbed room (loo, bathroom, restroom, WC, 1/2 bath, kitchen, etc.). Expert craftsmanship with an attention to detail. Clear descriptions and images, so you know what you are getting. Appreciated promptness of order processing and delivery, as well as the minimal, but safe packaging (better for reuse and recycling). Pleasant transaction all around. Will purchase again, in future.

I create handwoven household textiles using antique tools.
Textiles have been a focus of my life from my earliest years - my mother taught me to knit clothes for my Barbie doll, and I've been making textiles ever since. I knit, embroider, weave, spin and hook. My career was also focused on textiles - I spent over 30 years as a textile conservator, working with beautiful textiles from all cultures and time periods.
Now I am creating textiles for you. I use only natural fibers, and my designs and weave structures are based on traditional textiles from many cultures. I make these textiles to be used - they are functional as well as beautiful. And I make them to be easy to maintain and to last a long time.
I continue my connection with the past by using antique tools. My loom is about 200 years old, and is worn smooth by the hands of generations of weavers. Virtually every other tool I use is also antique, and using them adds a great feeling of calm and connection to the weaving process.

I have been a textile conservator for over thirty years, and in the course of my work I've had the chance to see and handle many amazing textiles. This has inspired me to create my own textiles using antique tools.
