About

Hand quilted goodness.

I love quilts. Old and new, bed size and baby size. I especially love hand quilted quilts. With each carefully taken stitch, one by one, the thread binds together layers of softness to form a unique, heirloom-quality quilt meant to provide warmth and comfort over and over again. As a maker, I find the creative process of selecting fabric and playing with design exhilarating and the repetitive nature of sewing and hand quilting therapeutic.

Every home needs a quilt (or many). Whether it's to add a brightness of color or a layer of texture or just a means to keep warm in a favorite spot, quilts are meant to be a treasured part of one's home. They make beautiful gifts for loved ones, especially when carefully and thoughtfully custom designed. The best quilts are the ones that have beautiful memories woven into them!

Handmade quilts are a labor of love. Hand quilting, in particular, is a slow and deliberate process. Every stitch is carefully made, with design and quality in mind. The end result is a truly unique piece as no two quilts will ever be the exact same. I love creating quilts with beautiful high-quality fabrics, old and new quilt patterns, and simple hand stitches that combine a fresh, modern take on an art that is so rich in history.

I love all things quilts - particularly hand stitching, pretty fabrics, and a cuddly crinkle. Quilts make me happy whether they are displayed on a cozy bed, folded across a sofa, or hung up on a wall. I'm on a mission to share my quilting happiness.

Additional policies and FAQs
All quilts have been pre-washed using Soak Wash, a biodegradable, phosphate-free, non-toxic, and dye-free wash that is gentle enough for the most sensitive skin. The pre-wash ensures your quilt arrives with that cuddly crinkle, but it will only get softer with each wash. To care for your quilt, machine wash cold with a mild detergent on the shortest, gentlest cycle, and tumble dry on low or allow to air dry.

Mini quilts, or wall hangings, have NOT been pre-washed as some people prefer a crisp look and feel over the traditional crinkle. However, these items can be laundered just like a regular quilt.

Turnaround time for custom orders can vary, but it typically takes about 4-6 weeks to complete a quilt. A non-refundable initial deposit will be required at the beginning of the design process and construction. The remaining balance, plus shipping, is due when the quilt is completed and ready to ship.

I've handcrafted each item in my smoke-free home.
