This hat is amazing. I was comparing it to the $225 stansborough licensed one and hers is more accurate in color and already comes with a formed brim and padded crinkled tip! Great customer service and super fast shipping as well. She made it and shipped in less than a week. Thanks again!

Staci was so easy to work with. I'm thrilled with my shirt. Photo to be uploaded later.

About

I just want to wear pretty things and i want them to FIT!

My love of sewing started out of a desire to create things that fit ME perfectly. I have always been plus size and so it has always been my goal to wear stylish things and wear them well. Combine that with my love of historical costume and theatre/film and BLAM you have If Autumn Ends Design and Alterations. I started my etsy in June of 2006 just making basic dresses and fashion items, but then I expanded to mostly costumes and historical pieces. I am highly interested in corsetry and although it's on the back burner I expect it will rear it's head in the shop, too. I have also recently become interested in vintage items so I will also post those from time to time.

Every woman deserves to feel good in clothes that fit her. That is my ultimate goal - being a plus size myself I have always been disappointed when things that I thought were beautiful didn't fit me, so I started making my own clothes. Now I am happy to be helping other ladies with the same issues.

I received my Bachelors of Fine Art in Costume Design and Technology for Theatre/Film. I have a bunch of machines - a singer, a bernina, a 1940's white, a viking husqvarna, a janome serger and a brother serger. I always make sure all of the edges of my fabric for my garments are finished and garments are lined or interfaced for stability and comfort.

Accepted payment methods

  • Money Order
Payment
I prefer paypal, but I do accept money orders. Payment should be received within 3 days through paypal or 5 business days if there is a money order.

Total payment is required before I will mail out your garment or start constructing your garment.
Shipping
I ship during the business week (mon - fri) through the united states post office (www.usps.com). I include delivery confirmation with each shipment.Insurance is avaliable upon request.

I ship all over the USA, canada, mexico, and australia. All other orders from the rest of the world are decided on a country to country basis.

I am not held liable for the package once it leaves my hands at the post office. I do have the delivery confirmation number that will be available to the consumer in the event of postal confusion or a lost package.

NOTE: If you use PAYPAL to pay, I use the shipping address provided on the PAYPAL RECEIPT to ship your item. I cannot be held liable if this is the incorrect address. If it is an incorrect address, please inform me at the time of payment or before.
Refunds and Exchanges
If a cancellation is made RIGHT after the purchase of an item then a full refund is given, minus a processing fee (which includes etsy fees) based on the cost of the garment. If garment has already been started after the purchase of an item when it is cancelled, a 50% refund is given. If the garment is finished at the time of cancellation only a 25% refund will be given.

Once the item is received, due to the nature of the custom made item, refunds are not given unless there is a serious problem with the garment (stains, holes, etc), I will happily replace the item once the original item is sent back.

I am also not responsible for fit issues due to inaccurate measurements given on the part of the customer. I suggest you always have someone other than yourself measure you, in a tailoring shop if plausible. I can, however, alter the item for the customer for a fee.
