5 out of 5 starsI was very fortunate to find talented, Staci Bell here on Etsy to help me with a 2017 Halloween project. The dress she made fits Wednesday perfectly and she even customized the design with details I asked for from the 1991 Addams Family movie, and used fabric of my choice. I highly recommend Staci Bell for all of your creepy and kooky, mysterious and spooky, altogether ooky costuming needs!

About stitchandscissor
I just want to wear pretty things and i want them to FIT!
My love of sewing started out of a desire to create things that fit ME perfectly. I have always been plus size and so it has always been my goal to wear stylish things and wear them well. Combine that with my love of historical costume and theatre/film and BLAM you have Stitchcraft and Scissordry Designs. I started my etsy in June of 2006 just making basic dresses and fashion items, but then I expanded to mostly costumes and historical pieces. I am highly interested in corsetry and although it's on the back burner I expect it will rear it's head in the shop, too. I have also recently become interested in vintage items so I will also post those from time to time.

I received my Bachelors of Fine Art in Costume Design and Technology for Theatre/Film. I have a bunch of machines - a singer, a bernina, a 1940's white, a viking husqvarna, a janome serger and a brother serger. I always make sure all of the edges of my fabric for my garments are finished and garments are lined or interfaced for stability and comfort.
