Thank you for taking the time to look at my one-of-a-kind creations. For as long as I can remember sewing has always been a huge part of my life. I love to make pillows, curtains, traditional and memory quilts, bears, over sized hand bags, baskets, and cloths etc.
A good afternoon would consist of taking a pile of perfectly fine fabrics and cutting them up into little pieces, then trying to sew them all back together, creating a beautiful quilt or pillow case.
I can get lost inside a fabric/craft store searching for the right fabric for my next project or spend an entire afternoon sifting through vintage buttons, ribbon, lace, or fabrics at an antique store or auction. I enjoy recycling these vintage items to create beautiful treasures for others to enjoy. Not all of my work uses vintage fabrics, but I do have a real appreciation for them.
I have a BFA in Design along with an MBA in Business Administration. During the day I work in a business setting, but when 5:00pm comes I turn on my creative side and unwind while creating something new at my sewing machine!
