They're a little sharp at the tip so they needed some sanding to round things out. Great hold tho. They're very pretty as is, I love the red-ish brown of the wood. They're obviously intended for crafts but I just wear them as one of my regular hair accessories now.

I have ordered drilled hairsticks from Fire Mountain Gems and from St Katherines on etsy. The quality of St Katherines hairsticks is superior to Fire Mountain Gems. While the price was slightly higher, St Katherines frequently offers discounts which makes it comparable. The shipping is FAST!!!!! I absolutely will be purchasing again in the future. :-)
