Traditions through design
Stories was created by Lucija and Titapa, who share a vision to work in the design field with a specific dedication to help preserve local knowledge and traditions.
We create products with stories (hence the name) - each design piece tells a story of who created it or how it was born, thus preserving the traditions and connecting the artist and the product with the customer.
We use local materials and it is local artisans from Northern Thai hill-tribe villages that make our ideas come true.
With respect towards traditions and hands that produce our creations.

Lucija is Stories co-founder, co-owner, designer, photographer, editor and art director. Originally from Slovenia, and after 10 years of studying and working in Italy, has since 2008 made Thailand her home, exploring the link of design and heritage.

The other half of Stories is Joy who is also a co-founder, co-owner, designer, curator and marketing manager. Born and raised in Thailand where she returned after studying abroad, she continues to explore and promote her homeland's rich traditions.

It is thanks to Ekachai's skills and experience that Stories can offer such beautiful silver jewellery, all of which is handmade in his small workshop in a small Karen hill tribe village in Thailand's North, where traditional way of life prevails.

Keep in mind that "homemade" ring sizing methods are usually unreliable, best is to have your finger properly measure at a jewelry store. Contact us if you have any doubts about ring sizing!

Silver is prone to tarnishing when exposed to tarnishing elements, such as chlorine or sulfur (tarnish is a chemical reaction on the surface of metal). It is advisable to keep your silver jewelry stored in a closed container when you are not wearing it.
