Welcome to Stories They Tell on Etsy. We offer one-of-a-kind handmade polyclay art beads and components for your creative jewelry making and handcrafted jewelry in precious metals and unique pieces using treasures gleaned from a lifetime of collecting.

Returns and exchanges
Our photographs and item descriptions are as accurate as we can make them. Please ask any questions about the item before purchasing. Refunds are not available for handcrafted items; however, we want you to be completely pleased with your purchase so you can exchange handcrafted items or supplies for shop credit. Please e-mail us immediately if you want to make an exchange. Returns/exhanges are not accepted after 30 days of purchase and the return postage is at your own cost.

If you want a replacement item, we will ship this to you free of charge.

After all these caveats, we want you to know we take great pride in our craftsmanship, so please purchase with confidence!
Payment
PayPal is the preferred payment method but you can use your credit card to make a payment during the PayPal check-out process.

Please pay for your purchases within 24 hours.
Shipping
We ship to the address you provide in the Etsy checkout not your PayPal address.

For shipping in the United States, beads and jewelry items are shipped USPS First Class Mail with delivery confirmation unless otherwise noted. You may choose to add insurance or a faster shipping option to any item-- please contact us before payment for a total of the charges. We are happy to combine multiple items to maximize your postage dollar.

For International shipping, packages will be shipped First Class International. Delivery time will vary with the destination. Please contact us for the shipping cost before purchasing.

Orders will usually ship out within two days.

CUSTOM ORDERS - We welcome custom orders. It is not always possible to duplicate colors exactly and some of our work is one-of-a-kind with found objects that are completely unique. Convo us with your ideas and we will do our best to work with you to make your vision a reality. Please allow extra time for custom orders.

WHOLESALE - We can set up wholesale accounts for beads, buttons and other polyclay items that are not one-of-a-kind. Please convo us for information.
