A little peice of the wild from the heart

I started my shop in 2008, originally selling "critter charms," small polymer clay sculptures of animals on the side of my college studies.

I moved to the rural hilltowns for 8 years or so between where I raised livestock such as rabbits and chickens, and enjoyed a homestead life. I ended up having a kid which shook our world, and we moved back to what I consider suburbs (though I think most people would still call this rural!)

Still involved with animals, I am now a professional illustrator and fine artist showing my work in local galleries and even landing an art residency through a local gallery. Being a parent alongside being an artist has given a sense of wonder to some of my works as I get to hear about my work through a child's eyes.

Nowadays I am selling prints of my animal art as well as fun projects here and there! My work is still focused on animals which are my love.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
If you are not satisfied I accept returns that I am contacted about within 7 days of your reception, shipped at buyer's expense. I will refund the purchase price once the item has been received in resellable condition but the shipping is non-refundable. Some custom items are not resellable to others by default (too personal, too unique, etc.), this will be told to you when you order.

I package my items as safely as I can, but the postal office can sometimes abuse packages. If an item is broken in shipping please contact me about how to fix.

A package is considered lost if it's been more than two weeks domestic, or more than 2 months for first class overseas (depending on country) I will give you any information you need to track it from your end and will do my best from mine. I do not usually offer refunds for lost or missing packages, in most circumstances I will replace the item. All domestic packages have delivery confirmation, and on international packages custom numbers can generally track the package to the border. In cases where the item is one-of-a-kind and worth more than $30 I will generally put postal insurance on the package and insist on more expensive shipping when overseas.
Payment is expected within three days (preferably immediately), but exceptions can be made if I am contacted beforehand.

I am required to collect MA sales Tax on items shipped to places within Massachusetts.

If ordering a custom item, work begins after payment is received.

Buyer is responsible for any customs fees. I will not mark a package as a gift for any reason and will always be honest about the cost.
I ship via USPS. I live in a rural area and cannot ship every day. Shipping of non-custom items is within one week of payment, on rare exceptions can take as long as 10 days (you will be told if this is the case!). Custom item shipping times vary due to complexity of the project. Depending on the item I wrap in bubble-wrap and send in a bubble-envelope or box. The envelopes are always new; I don't trust used envelopes.

For domestic, the price is for standard delivery with delivery confirmation unless otherwise stated. I am happy to upgrade to priority, it is my preferred service because I find it safer.

I greatly value my international customers and therefore provide affordable shipping via first class for items under twenty dollars. However, first class can take a while, usually it's within a week or two but it's not rare to have a package take 3 or more weeks to certain countries. Please understand this when you buy. If time is an issue ask to upgrade to priority, I will edit a listing to reflect the higher shipping price, which is often $10 or more in difference.

If you would like additional insurance, please convo me! I am happy to provide it. I put delivery confirmation on all domestic packages because I like to know when it arrives. I also like the buyer have a way to know their package is on its way ^_^

If an item is in need of repair I am happy to help you! Just ask. In most cases I will fix it for free if you pay shipping. In others I can help you fix it at home. I am not willing to replace items broken by deliberate misuse or mishandling.

In most cases, I cannot replace an item if you do not send me the original back, I apologize. I also cannot replace an item after a long period of time has passed--no item should be expected to be indestructible and I might not make them anymore!
