Proud to be a nerd.

We’re avid gamers, cosplayers, and all-around geeks. We’ve been going to nerd conventions for a long time, we’ve met some really awesome people, and over the years we got in the habit of making geeky gifts for our friends. We’re both artists, and we would scrounge together whatever craft materials we had lying around our apartment, and make keychains and tiny sculptures of various video game and pop culture characters. Our friends liked the gifts we made them and they thought other people would like them too, so they encouraged us to open up an online shop. So we decided to take their advice, and give it a try!

Since our early days of making gifts for our friends, we really amped up the quality of our items so that we can offer you all some really well-produced geekery. Creating authentic handmade goods is our way of saying, "Viva la fandom!" So none of our items are resold, 3D printed, laser cut, cast from another artists work or manufactured anywhere except within our studio! All of our items are hand-sculpted, hand-painted, and crafted with a high attention to detail.

We love being creative together and we love sharing what we make with geeks like ourselves. What we hope to accomplish with our items is to help you make your inner nerd a little more visible from the outside. •REFUNDS•
We are happy to offer refunds as long as the item is returned to us!
Additionally, if you are unhappy with your item for any reason please contact us and we will try to work something out! We always want out customers to be happy.

We do not accept refunds on custom items, international orders, or over-sized props.

•CANCELLATIONS•
We are accept order cancellations as long at the item hasn't been processed to ship...in which case we can refund the item once the customer returns it to us if desired.

•SHIPPING OPTIONS•
Within the US we offer four shipping options.
● ||Standard Shipping|| ~3-7 days business days (USPS First Class mail)
● ||Standard Shipping w/ Insurance|| ~3-7 business days and comes with $50 of insurance (USPS First Class mail)
● ||Priority Shipping|| ~1-3 business days and comes with $100 of insurance (USPS Priority Shipping)
● ||Priority Mail Express Shipping|| 1-2 business days and comes with $100 of insurance (USPS Express Shipping)

SHIPPING TIMES: These shipping time estimates are from the DATE SHIPPED, not the date ordered. Please remember that our items are made to order, and there is a processing time of 3-7 days before an item is shipped.

TRACKING: All shipping options offer tracking information and updates that are available through Etsy when viewing your order.

LOST PACKAGES: Straight Up Geek cannot be held responsible for lost packages. Only items with insurance can be replaced/refunded if they are LOST in the mail. However, if this happens we always try to work with our customers on a case by case basis to figure something out!

•INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING•
We send our international shipments using USPS First Class International which usually arrives in 3-14 business days. All internationally shipped packages come with $50 of insurance. Recipients are responsible for any additional Customs charges.

•SERVICE•
Straight Up Geek cannot be held responsible for delays in shipping caused by USPS. However, we always are attentive to the orders we send out and follow tracking information to ensure that orders are received quickly as possible.

All items are shipped to the address specified by the customer. If there is a customer error when typing this address, Straight Up Geek cannot be held responsible for the failed delivery.

If the customer is not available to receive the package, Straight Up Geek cannot be held responsible for delivery failures. It is the customers responsibility to make themselves available to receive the package.

For shipping within the United States: If a package has not arrived within 15 business days from the date of purchase, we consider the package lost and will offer a refund or exchange on a case by case basis. If it has been less than 15 business days and the package has not yet arrived, we consider the package to be 'in-transit'.

For shipping outside the United States: If a package has not arrived within 30 business days from the date of purchase, we consider the package lost and will assist the customer in receiving a refund from mailers insurance. If it has been less than 30 business days and the package has not yet arrived, we consider the package to be 'in-transit'.

We allow buyers to request customization on many of our orders. With most requests for custom paint-jobs, we do not charge extra for the customization. However if a custom request requires significant physically change to the item's size, shape, or design additional fees will be added. This fee accounts for the additional labor that's required to make a one-of-a-kind item just for you (hand-sculpting/hand-painting).

•WHOLESALE•
Most items are available for wholesale or bulk orders. Please contact us for more information.

•COUPONS•
Coupons will be available during special events and holidays.
Thank-You-For-Your-Order Coupons are only for repeat customers under the same account. We reserve the right to deny any customer or order using a coupon code wrongfully.

Why hasn't my order shipped yet? / How long is your processing time?

Processing time is 3-7 days.
Our items are made to order...meaning we have to make them first!
Our shipping time estimates begin from the DATE SHIPPED, not the date ordered. Please expect a processing time of 3-7 days before an item is shipped. (And let us know if you need it rushed)

You'll receive an E-mail once the item has shipped!

How long will shipping take?

Shipping times depend on what you select at checkout:

● Standard Shipping ● ~3-7 business days.

● Standard Shipping w/ Insurance ● ~3-7 business days and comes with $50 of insurance.

● Priority Shipping ● ~1-3 business days and comes with $100 of insurance.

Why isn't my tracking information updating?

It's (unfortunately) common for USPS tracking information to not always update.

If a package has not arrived within 15 business days (30 for international packages) from the date of purchase, we consider the package lost and will offer a refund or exchange on a case by case basis. If it has been less than 15 business days and the package has not yet arrived, we consider the package to be 'in-transit'.

International packages will usually stop updating once the package has left the US. USPS stops receiving updates when the package is in the hands of the new carriers overseas. Contact your local mail service for more information.

Can I return my purchase?

Yes! We are happy to offer refunds as long as the item is returned to us! Additionally, if you are unhappy with your item for any reason please contact us and we will try to work something out! We always want out customers to be happy.
