Really clever and fun item. Had fun posing it on the microwave, but will be hanging it from a window above a door from the nifty hoops at the end of it's feet. Good communication from seller, pleased with product and would happily recommend.

About

Strange Children Grow Up To Be Strange Adults

I've been making Bright Eyed Creatures for about a decade. (Time flies when you're having fun!) I primarily work with river rocks, glass marbles and polymer clay. I like working with polymer clay because it stays soft until cured in an oven. My favorite brand is Fimo because it works really well for caning (aka millefiori). This technique allows me to create designs that repeat throughout blocks of clay. I cut slices of this clay and run them through a pasta machine (it's permanently set for lasagna) to make the slices a uniform thickness. The result is that I am able to reproduce an effect for multiple projects while still giving each one it's own special personality. All of my creatures have been created using this technique although some designs are more detailed than others.
