Thank you so much for shipping this so quickly. I had one of these when I was younger and it brought back so many wonderful memories. Thanks again! Regards, Deborah

Love this bracelet. Like pieces that are different and this is very nice. Was very fast on delivery, very surprised and happy about that. Enjoy wearing this piece and have gotten complements on it.

About

I Couldn't Find It So I Had to Make It.

Two paths led to this shop: the first was my habit for finding jewelry that was just kind of all right and tweaking it to be exactly what I wanted it to be. The second was my love of gemstone mining and picking up things here and there that meant something to me - but I didn't want them just sitting on shelves. Now I have found tools, materials, and methods to make exactly what I want to wear; things I can find no where else. Once I make that thing I've had in my mind that I want, I try to make a few more that are similar to put in my shop. I figure if I like it, maybe someone else out there does as well.

My jewelry isn't for everyone - it's often small and delicate and primitive - and I don't pay attention to the trends. I just make what I like because it makes me happy. I know that's not very business-savvy but this isn't my job. It's my hobby and what I do to de-stress. Doing things like custom orders and making items that I think are ugly just because they will sell? That turns what I love into a job that I will resent. I won't do that because I care too much about what I make and the happiness it gives me. I hope you'll forgive my inflexibility.

I change mediums as I find new things to interest me. When my shop started I was primarily looking for an outlet for the rough gemstones I was mining and wire wrapping. I've added to that with a phase in metal stamping, simple gemstone bracelets, coral and beach glass, and lately I've wanted lots of new earrings in different metals. Anything I've learned before becomes a foundation for what I do next. Who knows what I'll feel like doing next. The one thing that seems to stay the same is my desire to keep things looking just a little imperfect - for example, gemstones are not top grade because they seem more real to me with inclusions and other minor flaws. Perfection feels like imitation, it feels like anything I can walk into any store and buy. That stuff doesn't interest me. I'd rather wear something real but tiny than something large but fake.

So that's what I'm doing here. Your support assists me in getting supplies for some other crazy idea I'm having. In return, I hope you get something that you can feel really good about because you know it's unique and made by someone who cares about it.

As a child, I was the one quietly walking from upstairs to basement to backyard to porch, carrying various objects that made my parents wonder "what are you doing NOW?". Usually I was making things.

Julie used to make the silverware bracelets, until Andy saw them and knew he could do better. He did, and now they are his domain when he isn't fixing cars.

I add metaphysical healing property descriptions to my gemstone pieces because many people find that interesting. However, one should never ignore medical expertise to rely solely on gemstone healing.

Almost all items here are one of a kind - nothing is mass produced. I make what I like and share it with family, friends, and you.

Payment
Payment: If you buy an item, payment is required through PayPal immediately. If you are paying through PayPal in a way that requires clearance through your bank, item shipping will be held until I receive clearance from PayPal about the transaction being accepted.
Shipping
Shipping: I use the US postal service and send items Priority Mail in the USA or first-class international to Canada. All customs and duty taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. US packages will have tracking, Canadian packages can only be tracked to their last US destination.

Canada is currently the only international destination I am shipping to.

I live across the street from a post office so I can usually ship the next day after getting payment (Monday through Friday). I ship immediately but delivery will depend on your mail service, so please be patient.
Refunds and Exchanges
Returns: I take great care to package your item carefully for its journey, and I take pictures of jewelry from several angles so you can make an informed purchase. Unless I sent you the wrong item, all sales are final.
