Unique jewelry made from real, hand-foraged pieces of nature.

I began making jewelry as a hobby in middle school because it was a form of functional art that I could do at home with the limited tools available to me. From there it turned into a passion as I went on to study sculpture in college and was able to broaden my jewelry horizons. I see each piece of jewelry that I make as a small, functional sculpture.
It is important to me to use real pieces of nature because it is very near to my heart. Because Vermont has such long winters, the time there is for nature to flourish is limited to a few short months. When winter sets in, it's easy to forget that the beautiful abundance of life ever was there in the first place. My initial goal was to preserve the memories of this abundance. Many of the plants that I use are discarded as weeds and considered a nuisance. To me they represent resilience and beauty. No plant is a weed.

I grew up in the woods on the top of a mountain in rural Vermont, and after traveling all over the United States by bicycle, I'm settled in the thriving "city" of Burlington, VT. I'm equal parts dog-lover, nature-ogler, and bicycle-enthusiast.
