straynotions' Shop Policies
Thanks for visiting my shop and for buying handmade (be it from me or one of the many talented folks you'll find here at etsy)
I accept PayPal and credit card payments. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can still pay with your credit card through PayPal. Contact me if you have any questions about that, I know it can be confusing sometimes.
Massachusetts residents will be charged MA sales tax at PayPal payment.
US shipping - For most items I use priority mail with tracking. Insurance is optional. If you'd like insurance let me know and I will adjust your invoice to reflect this. For small items I ship first class with tracking to save you a bit of money. If I overestimate the shipping cost I will refund any amount over $2 of the overage.
International customers -- I have done my best to come up with a one-size fits all estimate for shipping internationally, using priority mail. In some cases I can save you some money by using standard first class mail. I can not track packages once they leave the US and can only insure them if I use priority mail or one of the even more expensive services. If you request these options I will adjust your invoice accordingly. If you don't care about priority shipping I may be able to save you some money and will refund any savings over $2 once the item has bee received.
Items which are ready to ship within 3 days of confirmed payment .
Custom items will ship in a mutually agreed upon time frame (generally 3 weeks) after specifications (size, color etc.) are agreed upon and payment is received.
Expedited and overseas shipping can be arranged.
Shipping internationally may cause your parcel to attract fees or duties when delivered. These fees are the responsibility of the buyer.
Refunds and Exchanges
I really want you to love your purchase and certainly to feel that you were dealt with honestly and fairly. If, for any reason, you are not happy with your purchase of a "ready to ship item" please contact me first and I will work with you to resolve any issues. If we can't figure out a resolution, I will refund your full purchase price, not including shipping fees, upon return of the item in its original condition.
Contact me within seven days of receipt of your purchase and notify me of your intent to return. You have 10 days from the time you receive your purchase to return it to me. I can not accept returns after 10 days. Please use delivery confirmation on all returns and provide the tracking number after mailing. All refunds are issued through PayPal.
Custom orders are generally not refundable but again if there are issues I will work to resolve them.
