I left a Mid-Atlantic city for the Southwest in the Mid-50s. and never
looked back. Now, I am reaching out through this shop to introduce
the especially fine items that have been my good fortune to enjoy.
I am now elderly and must downsize. I've been on Etsy since 2012 and
it is a pleasure to work with and to hear from buyers who are the proud
and pleased new owners. (feel free to see reviews)...A Special Vintage

Studio CLD came into being in 1985 with the fabrication of a few
jewelry designs by Carl Lewis Druckman-GIA-GG. I began as the chief
bookkeeper and Inventory slave! And Carl became a published award
winner in 1990s. He is deceased. Now, I am the sole owner. We no longer
produce jewelry except as a VERY special order. I am selling inventory
from 1980's including Opaque Mineral Cabs and Natural Faceted Stones
purchased c. 1985 to 1994 (Vintage in Etsy world). Most of the Finished
jewelry was made between 1988 and 1990 and are Ltd and Uniquely MCM.
A few are Prototypes and most high carat gold or .925 Sterling Silver.

published pieces. 2 Designs are currently on loan to TELLUS Museum
in Atlanta and MANY have been PUBLISHED over the years.

As I age, so do the objects left in my charge! Collections of American Mid-Century, Mexican and Scandinavian Metalwork, Gems and Eccentricities: in Glass,
Ceramics, Pottery, Metal and Wood!. Native American and European,
California to New England and Canada and South America...all before
"Global Economy" was a pet phrase.

I research the provenance, history and pricing. I will never hesitate to
say in the listing that "I don't know" or "I am not sure". I do have people
to ask and have been left with much information. On the other hand,
YOU know what you are looking for and you will know "IT" when you
see it. I am not a flea market shop. Gold is Karat Gold and Silver is
Sterling .925 unless noted in a description.

Etsy now offers a LayAway Plan at check out. If that plan doesn't work

be when I grow up?"...he knew! He was blessed with a keen eye.
