Thanks to my lovely customer, Caroline, for this photo of my set of 3 woodland prints framed in her baby’s nursery. Caroline used 8.5 x 11 prints with 11 x 14 framed to get this look. Always great to see my prints in their new home!

Art is My Happy Place

I grew up in England which is a place I still refer to as home after many years of living in the United States. I go there as often as I can to visit my family, to reconnect to the people and places I love and to be reminded of our unique and quirky culture.

I have been making art privately for as long as I can remember, but didn't really delve into a creative profession until 10 years ago when I worked as an Interior Designer. I loved the creative, behind-the-scenes type of work that is involved in the design field, such as drafting and rendering, more than any other aspect of the industry, but I never considered myself much of an artist, It wasn't until I received a big nudge from a special friend who thought I was mad not to put it out there.

So, after much time spent wondering why anyone would possibly want to buy my work, I braved up, let go and gave it a try. And I'm so glad I did! Making art for children and nurseries is really one of the most rewarding things I've ever done.

I'm usually found working in the little corner of my home that I call my studio, busy creating, printing and packaging my own work for my shop. I have always felt a deep connection to the animal world and so painting and drawing them makes all of this my happy place.

I try to balance my family and creative life as best I can and invariably find myself pulled in many different directions, as most mothers do. My two teen / tween daughters are growing up very fast and have much busier schedules now, but I'm fortunate enough that my work has become home-based so I can keep an eye on them!

I consider myself lucky to be here and I owe it all to my husband, friends and family who continue to be so supportive and encouraging. Thank you not only to them, but also to my lovely customers who continually help me to expand my creativity and grow my nursery line. I'm still very shy about my artwork, so I am always thrilled when I receive some lovely feedback or kind words, so to all who take the time to do that, thank you. It means more to me than you know!

I take great care to produce, package and ship your order so it reaches you in perfect condition. However when things don't go smoothly, I have policies in place to help. Please be sure to read and understand them before you order, or, please contact me to ask any question at all. I'm happy to help!

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
Unless for damaged prints received or seller errors, buyer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returns and exchanges.

DAMAGED PRINTS OR SELLER ERROR
I will happily replace prints that have been damaged in transit or are incorrect / incomplete due to seller error. Please contact me within 5 days of delivery with photos of damage or errors and I will send out your replacements within one business day (where possible). Please don't return anything that is damaged. Thank you!

OTHER RETURNS
You may return your unopened PAPER prints (exceptions apply*) in their original condition with prior authorization - please contact me before returning your prints. Unauthorized returns will not be refunded.

*RETURN EXCEPTIONS:

Unfortunately, I am unable to accept returns for the items below:

- GIFTS you have received that were purchased by someone else. Please contact the buyer and I will be more than happy to work with them.

- GALLERY-WRAPPED CANVASES or OVER-SIZED prints (larger than 11 x 14) unless for damage or seller error as they are are considered custom / personalized orders.

- BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE for all shipping charges and will be refunded for the cost of prints, less original shipping charges.

** PLEASE NOTE: A refund will not be issued for prints that are returned to me damaged or modified in any way. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE for any loss in value for damaged prints.

- Be sure to package your returned prints securely, using a flat, rigid (unbendable) mailer and heavy cardboard inserts. (DO NOT use bubble mailers or light envelopes to return your prints. They will get damaged in transit and this will effect your refund).

- You may wish to INSURE YOUR PACKAGE to cover you in case of damages incurred in transit. Priority Mail is typically the most affordable option. I am not responsible for any damages that are incurred with the return shipping process and full refunds will not be issued in those cases.

Should you wish to cancel an order, please contact me within 12 hours. I am happy to cancel before I have shipped the item/s.

CUSTOM ORDERS
Any artwork that has been personalized or modified at buyers request do no qualify for a return, unless in the case of damage in transit or seller error. In those cases, please contact me to discuss.

You may return your order in its original condition within 14 days of receiving it. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE for all return shipping charges. However, items that are returned to me because customer refused local fees such as (but not limited to) Customs / VAT / Import Taxes will be refunded the purchase price less original shipping fees.

Refunds will not be issued due to transit / shipping delays by USPS or before the item has been delivered. I will fully refund or replace orders that have been considered lost by the Postal Service. In all cases, please allow 2-6 weeks for delivery for international orders.

Expected USPS delivery is approximately 3-10 business days (delivery times are not guaranteed). This is in addition to my shop processing time of 3-5 business days.

PRIORITY MAIL (this option can be selected at checkout):
Expected USPS delivery is approximately 2-3 business days (delivery times are not guaranteed). Priority orders will be processed by my shop in 1 business day.

SHIPPING ADDRESS: Please double-check that this is correct. If your order goes through with an incorrect address, please contact me me before I ship your prints. Please take care when completing your order as I cannot be responsible for incorrect or outdated addresses.

PACKAGING: I take great care to protect your artwork. Your prints will be carefully packaged in individual cello sleeves and shipped together flat in a sturdy mailer with chip board and corrugated card backings. See below for CANVAS and OVER-SIZED PRINTS.

Please allow up to 2 weeks (US) for delivery of your canvases and over-sized prints (any size above 11 x 14). These are printed and dispatched by my printing partners and they will ship your prints directly to you.

SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION
This is not included with your standard or Priority shipping order. If you need signature confirmation with your order, please contact me for pricing.

Your package will typically be shipped by United States Postal Service FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL mail as this is the most cost effective method of shipping. If you require a courier service, please contact me for a quote.

- Please allow 2-6 weeks for delivery. Time of transit includes pick up, transit to sorting facilities, overseas shipping, time in Customs and the speed of delivery by the local postal carriers.

COLOR VARIATIONS in artwork may occur due to differences in computer monitors. If you are unsure of an item's color, please contact me before you purchase or request a mini-sample ($3 each).

FRAMES AND MATS are not included with your purchase and I do not sell them. The frames shown in the photos are for visual display purposes only.

CUSTOM ORDERS: I will consider ideas for custom artwork (when time or workload permits) and love to work with you on your special orders! However, some work may be more time consuming than others and so I may require an additional charge to complete your request. Please be sure to check with me first before ordering existing artwork from my shop and requesting changes beyond what I offer in the description.

Sizing details

Below are the standard print, frame and mat size options that work best with my prints:

Print size 5 x 7
- Frame size 5 x 7 or 8 x 10 frame with a 5 x 7 mat

**Print size 8.5 x 11 (this is the size I typically show in my listing photos)
- Frame size 8 x 10 (when trimmed) or 11 x 14 frame with a 8 x 10 mat

Print size 11 x 14
- Frame size 11 x 14, 14 x 18 or 16 x 20 with a 11 x 14 mat

Print size 16 x 20
- Frame size 16 x 20 or larger

** 8.5 x 11: Please note that I've designed my artwork to fit within an 8 x 10 mat opening - they are just printed on size 8.5 x 11 paper. If you are not going to use a mat with the 8 x 10 size frame, just let me know and I will trim them for you.

Custom and personalized orders

**Please note personalized or any custom orders (including GALLERY-WRAPPED CANVASES and OVER-SIZED prints larger than 11 x 14) cannot be exchanged or returned unless for damage or seller error.

Do you sell digital downloads?

Unfortunately, no. I prefer to print and package the prints myself to be sure you receive the highest quality reproduction of my artwork.

Are frames and mats included?

Sorry, but your purchase is for prints only and does not include mats or frames.

Can you rush my order?

For US customers, yes, absolutely! Please select the "Priority" shipping option at checkout and I will process your order within one business day. I will ship via USPS Priority Mail which typically takes 2-3 business days* for delivery.

International: Unfortunately, International Priority Mail is expensive and not always reliable. Therefore, I cannot rush your international order.

Yes! Feel free to contact me if you need a special size paper print or canvas.
