An Artist at Heart

Welcome to my little art gallery! My work is a simple, whimsical style focusing on sweet baby animals, birds, and florals. I love animals and I seek most of my inspiration from the creatures I see on my daily walks and from my garden, which is a lively hub of bunnies, squirrels, and birds.

I was born in England but now live near Chicago with my husband after moving here many years ago. While settling and raising our two young daughters, I felt a creative urge and so I returned to school to earn an Interior Design degree. The sketching and rendering work of the design field completely revived my inner artist and my love for pencil drawing that I've had since childhood.

After a friend saw my portfolio work, she asked me to create some baby animals for her daughter's nursery, so I tried sketching a bunny with a bow for her. I was truly surprised at how she loved it so much and that encouraged me to make more and sell them here on Etsy.

Since then, I am enjoying working with my Etsy customers to create a nursery line full of sweet and fluffy animals for their baby's nurseries and children's rooms. As I continue to grow my business, I now license some of my work across the United States and have illustrated a children's book.

When I'm not creating, you'll find me gardening, walking or finding new ways to be inspired to create new artwork for you!

Hello! Thank you for purchasing or considering my artwork. Below are my shop policies with regards to returns (sorry, I do not accept exchanges). I try to be as fair as possible with all returns and will consider each request on an individual basis.

Accepted payment methods

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Digital downloads
Returns and exchange details
I accept returns in most cases. However, the following exceptions and limitations apply:
• Custom orders including personalized items such as custom artwork, names, additions and modifications requested by buyer
• Prints that have been modified by the buyer, ie. mounted, trimmed, framed or damaged in any way.
• Framed print or prints in wood hangers
• Prints larger than 12 x 16
• Gallery-wrapped canvas prints
• Gifts that were shipped to you by purchased by someone else. Please contact the buyer and I will be more than happy to work with them.
• Unauthorized returns (please contact me before you return items).

Damaged or incorrect prints:
• I will replace prints that have been damaged in transit or are incorrect due to seller error. Please contact me, with photos, within 7 business days of delivery and I will send you a replacement. Please do not return damaged prints.

• Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs incurred for returns (unless for damage or seller error).

• Buyer is responsible for any loss in value for prints that are returned and have subsequently been damaged in transit. Prints can easily get damaged in the mail so please take care to protect your return. I suggest a rigid mailer, cardboard inserts and / or original packaging where possible. You may wish to insure your prints for your protection to claim for any damages occurred during transit.

• I am unable to accept returns on prints that have been modified by the buyer (ie. trimmed, matted, mounted, framed or damaged).

International customers:
• You may return your order in its original condition within 14 days of receiving it.
• Buyer is responsible for all shipping charges.

Refunds will not be issued due to transit / shipping delays. However, I will fully refund or replace orders that have been considered lost or stolen by the Postal Service or courier ("in transit" does not apply). Please allow 2-6 weeks for delivery for international orders.

I accept and welcome all payment methods as approved by Etsy. Payment must clear before items are shipped
Shipping
I take great care in packaging your prints. If you have any problems with your order, please do not hesitate to contact me. Below is more information for certain countries:

• United States:
Most packages are shipped by USPS First Class mail or with USPS Priority Mail (where specified in the listing or as an upgrade paid by the buyer). Sometimes, I use a drop-shipping company to fulfill your order and will update your tracking information accordingly. Please note your shipment's tracking and expected delivery information can be found with your tracking history located under "purchases" in your Etsy Account.

• Germany - Verpackungsgesetz (LUCID Packaging Register)
On January 1, 2019, Germany’s Packaging Act (VerpackG) came into effect, imposing requirements on online retailers (including Etsy shops) selling to buyers in Germany. The Packaging Act promotes recycling and reuse of packaging materials (e.g. cardboard boxes, tape, and bubble wrap).

My company, Studio Q, uses a drop-shipping company named Gelato to print and ship orders going to Germany and Europe. They choose selected local printers (within or located near to your country) to process, print and ship these orders on my behalf. Gelato is compliant with the Packaging Act in Germany. To ensure customers' packaging for the German market is responsibly recycled, Gelato reports annually to the Verpackungsregister LUCID and pay an annual packaging fee to the Der Grüne Punkt.

Customers are advised to recycle all shipping and packaging materials per Verpackungsgesetz (LUCID Packaging Register).

• All other countries:
• Your prints or other products may be shipped from the United States or printed and shipped by a printing partner that is more local to you. International shipping prices paid by the customer include the cost of both overseas printing and shipping,
• Your shipment's expected delivery date can be found with your tracking history located under "purchases" your Etsy Account.

Large-sized prints (over 13 x 19) and gallery-wrapped canvas prints
• These are typically printed and dispatched by my printing partners and they will ship your prints directly to you. I am unable to accept returns or exchanges for oversized or canvas prints.

• Please be sure to measure your space and source your frames before ordering prints. I am unable to accept exchanges for incorrect sizes purchased by the customer. I do accept returns but customer will be responsible for return shipping costs.

• Color variations in artwork may occur due to differences in computer monitors. If you are unsure of an item's color, please contact me before you purchase.

• Frames and mats are not included with your purchase

• Custom orders: Please be sure to message me before ordering existing artwork from my shop and requesting changes beyond what I offer in the description. If you require a custom order, please message me for pricing and availability before ordering.

5. If transferring personal information outside of Europe, how the transfer will be handled
GDPR requires you to disclose if you transfer personal information outside of the EU and the legal bases you rely on to do so, such as consent and contractual necessity. Nathan uses Google Cloud, which is Privacy Shield certified, so he should explain to his buyers that he relies on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer of his buyers’ personal information outside of the EU. I may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. Sizing details

Below are some examples of standard print, frame and mat size options

Print size 5 x 7
- Frame size 5 x 7 or 8 x 10 frame with a 5 x 7 mat

**Print size 8.5 x 11 (this is the size I typically show in my listing photos)
- Frame size 8 x 10 (when trimmed) or 11 x 14 frame with a 8 x 10 mat. Let me know if you'd like your prints trimmed.

Print size 11 x 14
- Frame size 11 x 14, 14 x 18 or 16 x 20 with a 11 x 14 mat

Print size 16 x 20
- Frame size 16 x 20 or larger

Some sizes I show in my drop-down menu may require a custom frame option or are not standard. Please be sure to measure your space and source your frames before ordering prints.

Custom and personalized orders

Personalized or custom orders (including GALLERY-WRAPPED CANVASES and OVERSIZED prints larger than 13 x 19) cannot be exchanged / returned unless for damage or seller error.

I love to work with you on your special orders when time permits. However, there may be an additional charge to complete your request. Please check with me first before ordering existing artwork from my shop and requesting changes beyond what I offer in the description.

In most cases, the following changes will be made free of charge:

- Changing paper orientation (portrait/landscape)
- Changing accent colors (one color per set)

Can I license your prints?

I do offer options for commercial licensing. Feel free to reach out to me to discuss options, otherwise, all artwork purchased from Studio Q, LLC is for personal use only and subject to copyright.

Do you sell digital downloads?

Not usually. Most of my listing options are for physical prints only unless specifically stated in the listing description.

Are frames and mats included?

No, frames and mats are not included in most cases. Photos showing prints in frames are for visual display purposes only. Please read the listing description carefully before ordering. Thank you!

Can you rush my order?

Yes! Please select the "Priority" shipping option at checkout and I will process your order within one business day. I will ship via USPS Priority Mail which typically takes 2-4 business days* for delivery.

International customers: Please contact me if there is not an option to rush your order if this option is not shown.

* Shipping times are not guaranteed.

Can you print custom sizes?

Yes! Feel free to contact me if you need a special size paper print or canvas.

Shipping - International Customers

In an effort to offer more sustainable shipping options and to reduce your shipping costs, your order may be printed and produced by a printing partner that is more local to you (either in your country or one in your region). This also speeds up shipping times and avoids issues such as items being held for collection and delays in transit or at custom ports of entry.

International shipping prices reflect local shipping charges and the costs incurred by the seller for overseas printing.

Processing times for orders will vary on the local printer, but should not exceed 5 business days.
