My name is Kira...my mother's choice, from the Russian romance novel she was reading while I came to be.
I've got a fiery Irish spirit from my father's side, and a wanderlust from my mother's- whose parents escaped Russia during the 1910's and travelled to America to start a new life. The Ukrainian in me is a bit of a gypsy, and that shows in the eclectic styles I put forth in my art and jewelry.

The things I make are influenced by my life's journey, and I want to share that with you. I enjoy travel and reading and studying about far away places. I've visited Mexico, Canada, Italy and Ireland, and I've lived all over the USA- up and down, both coasts and Texas!

I'm a bit of a Geek, teaching myself such things as Adobe products, website wrangling, Video editing and Podcasting. There's used to be a feature on the Etsy Blog about the podcast here, http://www.etsy.com/blog/en/2008/podcasting-anyone-life-changing-teamwork/ but they have since removed the post as their blog has changed directions.
