4 out of 5 starsThis is a beautiful pattern, but a bit difficult to follow along since there are so many different fabric pictures.

I never carry a bag I didn't make
I make the things that I need and use everyday. Happily, other people like them and need them too.
My first product was a diaper bag that I designed for a friend of mine. I made her the bag I had always dreamed of with my babies. It was such a hit at the baby shower that I started to think about sewing as a business. That was in 2005.
A lot has happened since then. I have a licensing agreement with Simplicity which is beyond anything I ever dreamed about for this venture. More surprises: three of my products are featured in popular books, and I am the slipcovering instructor at Craftsy.com
I am most excited about my new slipcovering class that you can find over at Craftsy.com. It is professionally organized and filmed. Students are creating amazing slipcovers with it. Here is a link to the class:

I always have about a dozen projects in process at any given time. I wish I could pump out patterns faster for you all, but I am just one person. I dream of expanding and having help, so I can focus more on designing new bags, clothes, and furniture too.
I have added the very talented and meticulous Alice as a production assistant. I design and write patterns all by myself. Alice does some of the sewing after the patterns are written.

Cherie Killilea
Owner, Maker, Designer
I love to sew. I started documenting the process in 2006 when I wrote my first sewing pattern as part of applying for a patent. I love it when people use my patterns to start (or augment) their own sewing business. I design and make everything here.
