I started selling when Etsy was brand new. At the time, I made lampwork beads and I wanted to start selling, but eBay didn't appeal to me. Etsy came along and I established my bead shop (

I no longer make glass beads and so I spend most of my spare time at the sewing machine. I love making quilts, but I'm a huge perfectionist and the fudge factor required in quilting (when you're not perfect) drives me nuts. Two years ago I took a class at my local quilt shop and learned how to digitize quilt blocks for my embroidery machine. I also took a class on foundation paper piecing, so it was only natural for the two ideas to come together.

I'm currently rolling out a new collection of quilt blocks that are sized for 100 mm, 150 mm, and 200 mm hoops. My recently redesigned Trapunto Alphabet quilt blocks for the 100 mm hoop are the first in this series. It's slow going because I have to test every design, make samples, take pictures for each step, and write the instructions. Keep checking back as I add new designs.

I started sewing when I was 5 years old, when I got a little hand-crank Singer for Christmas, and I've never stopped. I specialize in modern quilts made using high-tech tools such as an embroidery machine, quilting software, and a cutting machine.

My bags and other items are made by me in my smoke-free, cat-friendly home.

Unless otherwise noted, all of my materials are pre-treated as necessary to make fabric objects washable *occasionally* in cold water by hand, then air dry. Tumble drying is not recommended.

Color in photographs is as accurate as possible. If the exact color is critical, please send me a message and I will try to help you determine whether or not the color is what you need.

Items in my Oopsies category are items that have a minor error that doesn't affect their durability. These items are sold as-is with no warranty, but the defect is clearly explained and shown in the images for the listing.
