My sister said it arrived in a box and it was secured in the box so it wouldn't get damaged. 5* !! And she showed me the wrapping job and also 5* ! He is opening it later in the evening but I just know he will love it. Great service, wrapping, care and craftsmanship.

Studio Tuesday Watercolors and Illustration
Hello! I am david scheirer, the artist behind studio tuesday. The studio tuesday shop is a mix of two styles I work in, brought together by my interest in animals, nature, and watercolor painting.
One style has its roots in traditional watercolor painting and features birds, animals, rocks, plants, and other subjects from nature. The style is fairly realistic and accurate but painted in a loose way with personality and character.
The other is a more graphic illustration style created with ink and watercolor and features animals and landscapes. This style is simplified and whimsical, although a lot of reality goes into these pieces as well, including the animal forms, animal behavior, and especially their habitats - which are the essence of these pieces as much as the animals themselves.
In the years after graduating from art college I worked several jobs (which included a garden center, landscaping company and an electrical contractor) while painting and trying to advance my art career in my off hours. I created a shop on Etsy in 2009 and several years later was able to leave my other job and create and sell art full time.
Being on Etsy has led to some interesting experiences. One of my favorites has been my work with Audubon's Project Puffin in Maine. I created artwork for a seabird and puffin show at their visitor center, traveled to coastal Maine, and visited the puffin nesting islands. I am still working with them going on six years!

Sizing details
If you don't see the size you are looking for or need a custom size, let me know. I offer custom sizing and will do my best to accommodate!
Custom and personalized orders
I happily accept custom projects! Contact me with your ideas and for information on my availability and pricing.
Care instructions
When matting your art I recommend using acid free materials to protect it. Some of my artwork comes already matted (check description), I use acid-free mats, backs, hanging tape, and clear sleeves.
I also recommend hanging your art out of direct sunlight. This can greatly expand the lifespan of your print or watercolor. Buying a frame with UV protection glass can also help protect it further.
Gift orders
If you are sending your order as a gift and would like to include a note contact me or include the information in the 'notes to seller' during checkout.
I can include a little note written on a small flat note card with envelope. You may also purchase one of the available cards in my shop if you would like your message in a greeting card.
Paper receipts are not sent with orders.
(An order confirmation and receipt will be emailed to you)
