Stuff On Strings originally opened in the fall of 2005. After a long hiatus from selling/creating, my creative urges came back and so did Stuff On Strings. Here you will find handmade jewelry as well as neat wearable vintage jewelry I have picked up over the years while searching for vintage components to use in my designs.
I like color and mixing metals. I like using vintage components like beads, findings and chain. I like the stories of who owned it before and what it has seen over the years in the nicks and scuffs and little imperfections.
With that said, pieces containing vintage parts should be expected to show some wear or other age-related characteristics.
A lot of my pieces are one-of-a-kind. This is not totally on purpose...I just have the attention span of a drunk ferret and bore easily. If you see something you like that has sold, let me know and I will see if I can make another one.
All of my items are intended for adult use only.
I do have a full-time job and work afternoon/nights. If I don't reply right away, please do not worry. I respond to all contact within 24 hours.

Accepted payment methods
Returns and exchanges
There are no refunds on custom pieces or vintage pieces. Vintage items are sold as-is. Normal wear is expected with age and I will describe (and photograph), to the best of my ability, any flaws in the piece.
I am not responsible for color differences between the item and your computer monitor. All photos are taken in natural light and more photos are available upon request.
Please ask any questions before purchasing and I will happily answer.
Once the package leaves my hands, I have no control over what horrors it may encounter in the postal system. However, I will gladly fix the damage to any handmade piece if you return the item to me within 10 days of receipt.
Payment
Payment must be received within 72 hours of purchase. Please contact me if you cannot pay in this time.
Florida residents will be charged 6% sales tax.
Shipping
If you are paying via Paypal, I will only ship to verified addresses.
I ship domestic twice a week.
