Announcement   Welcome to Style By The Spoonful! All of my jewelry is handmade and can be made to order. I hope you like what you see and please let me know if you have any questions or can't find what you are looking for!

A note about my jewelry:
Since everything is handmade, changes can be made if you see something you like but don't quite love (length, color, etc.). I can also do custom orders if you don't see what you are looking for.

I use sterling silver for all of my earrings. I made the mistake of using the "cheap stuff" for some earrings I made for myself and it turned my ears green. I definitely wouldn't sell a product like that!

My ideas come from jewelry I've seen or just random creations that pop into my head. Sometimes it's a combination of both. One of the things that really brought this shop around was going to a jewelry party, looking through the catalog and saying "I could make a lot of this, and for a lot less than what they are charging!" And so Style By The Spoonful was born!

And just so you know a little about who is making your jewelry:
I am and always will be a Texan, my husband and I just moved back to the Houston area from Colorado. I have two dogs, a bloodhound and a miniature dachshund, that are my children, they just happen to be furry. I went to Texas A&M University- Fightin' Texas Aggie Class of 2008- WHOOP! I'm also a law school grad.

I feel like I've always been pretty crafty (get that from my mom) but I started making jewelry a few years ago for myself and as Christmas gifts for my family. I've gotten comments on the pieces I've worn and my mom even told me that a lady that works at a jewelry store liked a necklace that I had made for my mom! Making jewelry is something that I really enjoy doing. My husband kept telling me that I needed a cheaper hobby, so rather than give this up, I just decided to turn it into a business!

Like I said above, if you have any questions or want something that you don't see, just let me know.

Payment
Please use either Etsy's Direct Check Out or PayPal to purchase your items. If other payments arrangements need to be made, please notify my and we will work something out.

If you need to cancel your order for any reason, please do so within 48 hours so that the items will not have shipped yet. If the item has already shipped, buyer is responsible for shipping costs to return to the item to me.
Shipping
I can typically get an item shipped within 1-2 business days after it is ordered. If a change is being made on the item, it may take a bit more time and I will let you know if it will take any more than 3 business days.

Items will be shipped via either USPS or FedEx in a small bubble-lined package. I will notify you with a tracking number so that you may track your package. If it is never received, please let me know and I will remake and resend the items. If you prefer a different method of shipping (UPS, etc.), let me know and I will gladly ship that way.

The jewelry is shipped in small plastic jewelry storage bags. If you would like the jewelry to be in a box (such as for a gift), please let me know.

Please note that buyers are responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred.
Refunds and Exchanges
Since everything is handmade, there may be subtle changes between what is pictured and what you receive. I try to make everything as close to the same as possible, but sometimes beads become unavailable or spacing is not exactly the same. That being said, if you are unsatisfied with your order, it may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of receipt of the item(s). Buyer is responsible for shipping costs of sending the item(s) back to me.
