Back in the early summer of 2010, I was browsing Twitter when I stumbled across the account of Amy Atlas. She is a tablescape designer extraordinaire and she immediately had me hooked. I'd always had a love of planning parties and design but it wasn't until I saw how Amy could create works of art with her tables that I thought about a career in the party planning world. Soon after, my sister and I launched Sugar Mommas Events and began our journey styling tables. I quickly found a new love of graphic design while designing signage for our tablescapes. It was around this time that I also discovered Etsy. Then a lightbulb went off! Why didn't I make my items available to more than just local clients? I wanted to be able to offer more than just party printables so I decided on a name that would encompass everything I planned to list. And thus, L'accessoire Parfait (The Perfect Accessory) was born!
Since then, my husband and I have bought a home and are renovating room by room. That's when stylingharvard.com began. Follow us on our journey of being first time homeowners who love to DIY! In order to bring a little more cohesiveness, I decided to change the shop name from L'accessoire Parfait to Styling Harvard - The Shop (plus it's a whole lot easier to pronounce)!
