Got it way earlier than expected, great quality and packaging.
It all started with a doll...
I knew from the time I was a very little girl that I wanted to do something with antiques and collectibles. From the first time I saw Jolson's "The Jazz Singer" at the age of 7, I was in love with "vintage" and it never went away! At 14 I attended my first doll show that mostly consisted of miniatures. But from across the room I spotted an 18" Ideal Shirley Temple composition doll. I was hooked. Then and there; forever. That day is burned in my mind - every single minute of it....every moment...every feeling just like it was yesterday. Scarcely able to ask if I could examine the doll...turning the tag over and seeing her price of $95 (quite a lot considering that she was not in the best of shape), talking to the seller....mentally adding up my babysitting and eighth grade graduation money...... and walking out on cloud nine in the parking lot to the car with my sweet treasure, looking at that little tuft of golden mohair peeking out from the tissue paper she was wrapped it.
That was it for me. It was a day that changed my destiny forever. My fate was forever locked into and would be always intertwined with someone else's dusty old treasures. Though I wasn't much more than a little girl, I knew right and there that I wanted to sell antiques and most specifically, vintage dolls someday.
I met my to-be husband in an antique shop and 18 years later we have four kids...and I'm still going strong with the selling....and still loving dolls and toys! The collection has diminished considerably as the needs of kids seem to eat up all extra; but one of the greatest joys I have is to seek something that needs a home, restoring or cleaning it to where it can be placed, and passing it along to someone who loves it as much as I do. When I come across an older doll who needs help, and I know I can "place" in a new home, I still get that same kind of rush at first sight that I did at 14.
We have expanded into vintage costume jewelry, another passion that we both share; and we hope you will find something to love in among our treasures!
I have been selling online since 1997 - but we are fairly new to Etsy. I am very happy with my sales so far and the great people I have met here! I hope you enjoy our shop!

Refunds and Exchanges
JEWELRY items are returnable with a 25% restocking fee unless it can be proven to have been misrepresented. If jewelry ships free, and when refunded, that amount is deducted out of the refund and paid by the buyer.

We need to be notified when the item is being mailed back to us, with tracking. Returns not mailed back within 5 days of an agreed upon return will be subject to restocking fees regardless of description. Items returned in lesser condition than they were arrived in will not be refunded; so please repack very carefully! Time frame for mailing a return is within 7 days; if the item is not put in the mail to us within that time, return policy is nullified since the item is being tied up and unable to be relisted and resold.
