Welcome to my shop! My name is Sarah, and I am a homeschooling mama to 3 - going on 4!!!

I have been crocheting my entire life, and learned to knit when I started cloth diapering, over 8 years ago now. I quickly found a passion for knitting, sewing, crafting, and all things fiber – it's what keeps me sane after a long day with my littles!

I hope you enjoy, and THANK YOU for shopping hand-made! :)

"Jesus paid it all! All to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain. He washed it white as snow!

INFO ABOUT WOOLIES: (Longies, Shorties, Cloth diapering wool covers)

My longies and overalls patterns are based with permission on the Dakine Longies pattern. If you are a knitter, check out the Dakine Knits in-stock store for great patterns and knits! http://hyenacart.com/stores/DaKineKnits/index.php?category=1. If there is another pattern you would like me to knit from, feel free to let me know. I am willing to acquire licensing for just about any pattern!

Please check out my Etsy shop for in-stock woolies, or PM me for a custom order. Custom knitting costs $.15 per yard. For a detailed example of how I calculate your cost, please see "How I Calculate YYMN Custom Cost" under "Payment Policy."

Please read below for store policies, and policies about customs. Thank you! :)

Custom knitting costs $.15 per yard. I require at least half down of the estimated total, in order to start work on your custom.

**How I Calculate YYMN (Your yarn, my needles) Custom Cost:**

After a piece is completely finished, I weigh it in ounces. For example, a pair of medium-large longies I recently finished weighed 7.2 ounces. The yarn I used specified that there were 153 yards in 4 ounces of that particular yarn. That would equal 38.25 yards per ounce. If I used 7.2 ounces of yarn, then that equals 275.4 yards. At $.15 per yard, that is $41.31. I round to the nearest whole number, so in this case, that would be $41. So, this particular pair would cost $41. (That does not include the cost of the yarn, which the customer provided in this example.) Simple! :)
Please allow 2-3 weeks *per item* for a custom knit, **beginning from the receipt of your yarn AND sizing information**. I can generally knit most customs within a week, but, you know, life happens when you're a mom. ;)
Additional policies and FAQs
I put meticulous love, time and attention into my knitted items, but please note that, by nature of the fact that the items are hand-made, minor imperfections that do not affect function are to be expected, and in fact add to what makes hand-made products so special.

Custom woolies will be made with the standard ribbed waistband, lucet cord drawstring, and seed stitch cuff, unless otherwise discussed.

Your woolies come from a cat and dog loving home, and may come with a pet hair or two that managed to sneak on. Please keep this in mind if you or anyone in your household suffers from pet allergies.

Thank you for choosing to buy hand-made and support a mom! I appreciate it SO much! :)
