Creations from Gemstones and Silver
In 2004 my husband and I married and finally finished our log home in the woods of Southside Virginia. A short honey moon took us to Cherokee Indian Reservation near Ashboro, NC.
Have you ever been to one of those 'mines' in the mountains where you pan for treasures? Our funny experiment with this created a love of working with gemstones. Their variety and beauty is never ending, as are the creations that can be made with them.
Below the home runs the Sugartree Creek which we can hear gurgling from the back deck. It seemed like the perfect name for our shop!.
I have been a Professional Photographer now for 16 years. With a degree in Fine Arts I enjoy both as outlets for my creative gift that God has blessed me with.
There are ALOT of jewelry craftsman to choose from. Recently I have been inspired to find more unique designs to include in my shop. Check out the bootchains and bridal jewelry! And ofcourse, if you have an idea but lack the patience to carry it through, send me a convo and we'll create it together!

Sugartreecreek was born when Lauren fell in love with gemstones. With a degree in Fine Arts, this was a fun new medium to work in. The colors and endless possibilities of designs keep the crafting table busy all year long.
