This cake stand matches the rustic feel of our wedding perfectly. It is more oval shaped than I would have hoped for but I just plan on placing flowers around the cake to take up some of the extra space on the sides.

You had me at "its from anthropologie"
Danielle started making cake stands to use for her wedding in 2010 and decided to sell them on Etsy. Little did she know they would take off and turn into a viable small business. Fast forward a couple years, Danielle meets Jenn in a bible study.
Here's the scene:
Danielle didn't fix her hair that morning, and not fixing curly hair is a bad choice. So she decided to make that "messy bun" look, look a little better with an overpriced sparkly headband (anthropologie). She sits in the back row to avoid others... little did she know Jenn was doing the same thing but decided to comment on the sparkles. Danielle quickly gave credit to the best overpriced store in America and a friendship was born.
Jenn had recently left corporate America to become her own boss. She always felt there was creativity in her hands and decided to put those hands & entrepreneurial spirit to work by creating her shop: www.endsoftheearthdesign.etsy.com.
Danielle and Jenn soon realized their similar passions and decided to unite forces. And so the journey begins...

Additional policies and FAQs
A: SORRY, NO. For cakes over 10" diameter, I would recommend doing a wooden slab for stability reasons. If we have slabs currently, they will be listed in the store.
Q: WILL IT LOOK JUST LIKE THE PICTURE?
A: Please note that due to the nature of wood, that every wooden item will be different. They may not look identical to the pictures but will be extremely similar. Because these are made from reclaimed tree branches that would otherwise be burned, we cannot guarantee a specific tree type.
Q: IS THE WOOD TREATED? WILL IT CRACK?
A: We do our best to dry out our pieces to reduce the chances of cracking, however, wood is a living element and will absorb moisture from its surroundings. This could lead to cracking. The heating process is also meant to kill any critters living in/on the wood. This is not 100%. If you see a critter, fear not, he just has great taste like you do. We do not recommend placing or keeping your wooden items on wooden furniture as moisture may be present.
Q: WHAT IS THE TOP COATED IN? CAN I PUT MY FOOD/CAKE DIRECTLY ON IT?
A: We use polycrylic which is low in toxicity. We do recommend putting something in between your food and the stand such as parchment paper which also helps for easier clean up.
Q: WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY CAKE STAND I ORDERED?
A: We want to get them to you as soon as we can. However if we are backed up we will send them in order of event date, not necessarily by purchase date. Please let us know when your event is.
Q: HOW DO I STORE AND CARE FOR MY CAKE STAND?
A: Keep your cake stand in a DRY place that is room temperature. (Having it outside for short amounts of time is fine) To clean: wipe with a damp cloth, use soapy water if needed. DO NOT LEAVE SITTING DIRECTLY ON WOODEN FURNITURE.
Q: CAN I GET A CUSTOM HEIGHT?
A: No. Our bases are set to certain heights for each size for stability reasons.
Q: WHAT ARE YOUR BUSINESS HOURS?
A: We are open and actively working Monday- Friday, 9am to 5pm CST. Convos and orders received outside these times will be addressed during normal working hours.
