Lovely wallet, nicely sewn, cute design, but hard to use with just 6 pockets. I had hoped to squeeze a few extra cards in, but no luck, my fault. Cute wallet for sure though! Great for people who travel lite!

About

The Origins of Sunflower Steamcrafts

In 1999, I became ill with what would eventually be diagnosed as fibromyalgia. Having recently become fully disabled with this chronic pain syndrome compounded by stress and anxiety, I've returned to my crafty roots to combat tension and hopefully contribute more to my family financially. Sunny, my mascot and service dog, loves the chance to meet all of you wonderful people, help me with ideas, and of course model for photos at every opportunity. Being an artist has provided me a way to keep my brain in the game while protecting my unpredictable body. I have 30+ years of crafting experience in various art forms from dressmaking and embroidery to knitting, crochet, leather craft, and wire bead work.

Since starting my studio, other members of my family have joined in, all producing hand made items with their own special flare.

The name Sunflower Steamcrafts originated with Sunny, short for Sunflower. The amazing thing about sunflowers is that even when things grow darker, they are always turning to follow the light. For the first time in my life, I really LOVE what I'm doing, and hope it shows in my work. Thanks so much for being a part of the journey with Sunny and me!

Payment
-Payment must clear before shipment of items. I only accept Paypal at this time, but a Paypal account can be acquired for free with a credit/debit card or checking account.

-If you order customization of an item you like in my shop, there may be an additional fee above the price of a standard stock item. When you contact me about a custom order we will discuss all costs and expectations before I post the reserve listing for you to purchase.

-I do not make precisely tailored items because I cannot fit you in person, but if you request a costume piece I will create an item based on a standardized pattern that will best fit the majority of provided measurements. I can provide instructions on how to measure properly to ensure the best fit. If you need the costume for a specific occasion please allow enough advance notice for me to complete a quality piece for you. I may need to order special supplies based on your needs. I can provide a time estimate when we discuss the details.

-Hand knit items, especially, can take months to produce depending on their size and complexity. If you are looking for a custom knit item please allow enough time for its completion.
Shipping
-In-stock items ship within 48 hours of payment. Custom items will take longer. I will discuss the time frame before finalizing the purchase.

-Shipped via USPS flat rate priority shipping

-Buyer may purchase insurance or other upgrades if desired. This may change the shipping cost. I will be happy to notify you of the total cost for additional postage before finalizing shipping. Contact me before purchase if you have different shipping needs.

-I am currently only shipping to the United States, however if you would like to order something to ship outside the US, convo me before purchase and I can set up a custom listing for you based on your location. Buyer will be responsible for Customs fees and shipping may take longer.

-If your item is a gift you would like shipped to an address other than your Paypal address, please leave me a note in the Message to Seller section at checkout. I will be happy to accommodate you.
Refunds and Exchanges
-All my items are handmade. Because of the "human factor" there may be small irregularities or imperfections, though I make every effort to make them as perfect as possible. Factory items will be more precise and uniform, but far less unique, and often poorer quality. As such, please be considerate of the time, skill, and years of experience required to create these items for you. Should an item manage to leave my studio with a flaw that interferes with the function or aesthetic enough to make it unusable, I will gladly refund your money according to the refund policy below. I am a perfectionist and will not ship an item that I would not be satisfied with receiving myself.

-I do my best to provide high quality, unique, handmade items. Should you find your item is not as you expected I will gladly exchange it or refund your money with the return of the item within 15 days of receipt. Items must be in their original condition and unworn, other than to try the fit. Most items can be recreated if they sell, so please take time to read descriptions thoroughly, ask any questions, and wait for responses before purchase to help ensure your satisfaction. =) I do check into my shop daily, if not several times a day and should be able to respond promptly.

-If a loss occurs during shipping, I will resolve any issues according to Etsy's non-delivery policies to try and reach a workable solution for everyone.

-There are no refunds on custom orders.

My favorite tattoo artist often reminds me that, as with any form of art, "Good work is not cheap. Cheap work is not good."
