Hi. My name is Linda Loca and I'm a Collectaholic

I've been a crazy collector of anything and everything vintage since I was a teenager - clothing, eyeglasses, fabric, purses, shoes, furniture, decor and tchotchkes - my collection is expansive, spanning over seven decades, and bordering on madness.

I grew up in Las Vegas where my dad was the bass player for Ella Fitzgerald and Etta James. The early exposure to neon, nightclubs and showgirls left a lasting imprint on me.

I initially started selling my own vintage glasses on Etsy, as a way to whittle down an insane amount of stuff. I have since been actively seeking out old deadstock from warehouses on the coasts, as well as top of the line, OOAK frames from the 20s through the 70s.

I'm an event professional and writer by trade. Linda Loca is a pen name I picked up along the way. I've written for the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Magazine, The Reader, Salon.com, MrSkin.com (another story for another day).
