5 out of 5 starsThe lot of slides I received had some amazing captures and I enjoyed going through all of them. She went above and beyond to fulfill a request of mine to include some slides from Europe.

5 out of 5 starsA custom made lamp with long-neglected slides my husband took many years ago - the lamp gives them new life. It's a beautiful conversation piece and everyone we've shown it to loves it. Thank you!!

Oregon! I love this land. I grew up here, moved just up the I5 only to return again!
Libraries, Cats, Film, Oregon, and Recycling
I started selling homemade things on Etsy in the early days, and quickly found a wonderful community of lifelong friends who had also been selling and shopping at homemade craft bazaars in church basements. You'll find a wide range of things in my shop, varying all of the time, because I have quite few interests! I basically love anything fidegety.
My main passion has been making lamps- I don't know if it helps me get through the 9 months of dark rain in the Pacific NW or not, but I made my first lamp out of a coke can in the 8th grade, and pretty much couldn't stop after that. The slide lamps started in undergraduate school. I studied filmmaking and had to shoot many many 35mm slides to edit into shows before I could move on to motion film. Combining them with the lamps I was already making just kind of fell into place! Now that I'm a Librarian, it feels even more like a perfect fit.
I also love to screenprint, cut out wood and work with wire and other materials. There is an immediacy that you just can't get with film, and I am delighted by that!
You'll also see my feature film Tammytown in here. It's distributed by Indiepix NYC, and it's an 80s teen comedy. it's also available on Netflix and at a lot of libraries if you just wanna check it out. A lot of love and hilarity went into it. The year we made it was one of the happiest of my entire life.
And, oh yeah, I LOVE cats! i totally wanted to be one when I grew up.
