Welcome to Suramics Pottery!
All my pieces are wheel-thrown or handbuilt, handmade ceramic. My functional pieces are watertight, food safe, microwave safe, and dishwasher safe. My horsehair and metallic glazed Raku pieces are decorative. Please note that Raku is not watertight or food safe. Each piece is signed with my initials on the bottom and the year it was made.
Standard shipping is USPS Priority Mail or First Class with tracking, depending on the weight of the order. Please contact me if you would like a different shipping method or overnight service. Orders will be shipped the next business day after payment has been received.

I started drawing and painting as a child. I started working with clay in 2006. I took a class at my local park district, and then I started taking classes at Lillstreet. After about a year, I set up a clay studio in my garage in suburban Chicago.
