Going forward, I am not willing to base my livelihood - even partially - on the loss-of life of any living beings.
These beads have NOT been destroyed, but rather blessed and donated to a non-profit thrift store supporting a local children's hospital. I know they will be purchased and valued for the beautiful beads that they are. Namaste!

How did I do this?

2.) By printing your receipt on TREE FREE paper - 100% plantation sugar cane fiber paper!
3.) By paper-packing a majority of my beads - 75,000+ U.S. sourced paper packs used since 2015.
4.) By responsibly recycling the plastics and styrofoam generated from my wholesale purchases.
5.) By totally eliminating use of bubble-wrap, switching to newspaper and recycled paper product for wrapping and natural string for tying.

I feel extremely fortunate that I am an "Etsian" - my shop - this spot, such a tiny "place of commerce" yet so much greater than the sum of its parts. What better way to balance out a life than immersing one's self in a favorite past time, imbuing it with every good thing that one can possibly devise or envision?
What is EthnicBeadShop about?
It is about one woman's ability to make a decent living selling responsibly sourced products.
It is about demonstrating that buying and selling responsibly CAN be profitable and IS a good idea.
It is about showing that REALLY good things are out there, acquired or made by great people earning an acceptable wage while creating those good things.

And...it is about touching you at this moment, letting you know that love fuels all things, providing each and every one of us with the energy to be happy, successful and capable of giving wholeheartedly to others without suffering personal depletion.

If you asked me now, whether it is possible to grow, and even THRIVE within a profound, personal experience, I'd answer without hesitation, "Yes...yes it is".

The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Returns and exchange details
I am unable to offer holds, exchanges, reserves, or rain checks at this time.

I will combine orders and will refund a portion of your second order's shipping fees. (Portion held is to cover Etsy's nonrefundable shipping fee percentage that Sellers are charged now.)

NOTE: I have provided accurate dimensions to the best of my ability.
Color shades of items may sometimes seem to vary from my photos, due to differences in screens/monitors. With that being said...

1.) BASIC RETURN - when you have decided that the item is simply not what you want ( ie damage or loss is not the issue):

a.) Contact me via convo (I may not see your email in time) as soon as possible so that I am aware and can watch for the return of your item.

b.) Ship your return via USPS First Class within 7 days of the item's delivery.
You are responsible for the return shipping fee. Please consider insuring the returning package - items returning to me that get lost on the return trip are not refundable through me.

c.) Please return item in original condition - still intact on original string, and/or an accurate amount in the original package.

Fulfill requirements listed above and you will receive a full refund for the item(s), not including original or return shipping.

2.) DAMAGED ITEM REFUND:
Please contact me as soon as possible, providing a photo of damaged item(s) in your message.
You will be provided a full refund for the damaged item, which will include shipping if it was the only item in your order.

MORE POLICIES:

1.) CANCELLING YOUR ORDER: please contact me via CONVO right away to request a cancellation and refund - I ship quickly, sometimes same-day.
If your order ships before I receive your cancellation request, please don't open when it arrives, mark "Return to Sender" on the outside of the package and give it to your local postal service. They will ship it back to me, at no cost to you.
Once returned, you will receive a full refund for the item(s) not including original shipping.

2.) LOST PACKAGES REFUND:
Full refund (including original shipping) after the required insurance filing wait has been met: 21 days Domestic, 45 days International, and 60 days Italy, from the shipment date.
Please contact me if you believe that your order is lost. Your lost order is NONREFUNDABLE 90 days from shipment date (insurance claims can be filed no later than 90 days from the shipment date).

If, after you have been refunded, the lost/late package eventually does arrive, please don't open, mark "Return to Sender" on the outside of the package and give it to your local postal service. They will ship it back to me, at no cost to you.

NOTE: Sadly, USPS does NOT offer a formal/written inquiry process for late/lost packages shipped FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL, which is the shipping method that I use, due to it's cost-effectiveness.
This means that I will be unable to assist your postal service in locating your package once it departs the U.S.

3.) SHIPPED TO WRONG ADDRESS (with incorrect address listed on Etsy):
Your purchase is non-refundable.
Go to: http://faq.usps.com/ and click the blue link "USPS Package Intercept - The Basics", located under the "Hot Topics" heading, to learn how to start a retrieval process.

4.) ITEM (within multiple item order) IS MISSING UPON ARRIVAL:
If item is IN STOCK, it will be shipped to you ASAP, per your request. (Refund for
missing item is optional.)
If item is NOT IN STOCK, you will receive a full refund for the missing item.

5.) SPECIAL ORDERS:
Although I will work with you regarding any concerns, most Special Orders are non-
refundable, due to their customized nature.

Currently shipping USPS domestic First Class and Priority Flat Rate only.
