Thanks so much for stopping by! The fact that you're here tells me that we have something in common — an attraction for specialized gifts with a sassy twist of fun.

For those who are looking for that one of a kind item when looking for a special fit for someone, you’re in the right place. Coming up with illustrations for the masses has never been my interest. You want something a little different that touches your heart, makes you chuckle, and shows your thoughtfulness when choosing a gift. That’s what my work is all about!

Much of what you see originates from artwork that I've created for special people in my life. Their heartfelt, typically laugh-out-loud reactions encouraged me to share my work with you.

I’m pretty much a self taught artist, but several years ago I was honored to take an in-home animation class taught by one of the great Warner’s Bros animators, Ben Washam. Through his weekly classes I learned about bringing images to life with a twist of humor. It was the best training I could have had.

As I begin a project I always ask myself what some typical traits of the characters involved might be... “What thought goes through a teacher's mind right before the morning bell?", or “What is it that golfers need to work on the most while trying to make that difficult shot?" “What is it that a particular breed of dog is known for?” With the Comedic Cats Collection it was “How can I illustrate a specific trait of a person using the scenario of a cat?” And so it goes for everything I draw.
