Much of what you see originates from artwork that I've created for special people in my life. Their heartfelt, sometimes laugh-out-loud reactions encouraged me to share my work here on Etsy.
As I begin a project I always ask myself what typical traits of the characters I’m creating might be... “What thought could go through a teacher's mind right before the morning bell?" “What is it that golfers need to work on the most while trying to make that difficult shot?" “What are typical traits of a particular breed of dog?” With the Comedic Cats Collection it was “How can I illustrate specific human traits using the scenario of a cat?” And so it goes for everything I draw.
